I have stayed for two weeks now and plan to stay for few more weeks. Tracey is an excellent manager and very helpful. Rooms are always clean and the breakfast is very good. The kitchen and wash rooms are well maintained and looked after. I would suggest anyone who is visiting Aylesbury to stay at this place

Dear Jeremy and Dave, Many thanks for your review I am glad you are enjoying your stay at The Townhouse

The town house was fit for purpose. Lovely cosy breakfast room in the very bright basement. Walking distance from Aylesbury high street. Near to park and opposite cemetery. Busy A 41 nearby. Staff bent over backwards to help. Bus stop right outside. Taxi from town was just £3. Parking provided. Tesco two minutes away.

Two night stay in double en suite. General decor wear and tear, sign on toilet that was a little bit off putting, (could have been worded better!), and sounds like road works when you use the shower or toilet. That all said, it was clean, powerful shower and a cosey, warm room. Friendly welcome from owner. Help yourself kitchen area.

Dear Guest, It was nice to meet you both. I know the toilet is a little noisy hence the note on top, as I'm afraid in the past people have ignored the polite notices and so I thought I would have a little jokey reminder, obviously the shower is a power shower so it is loud and powerful. As for...

Stayed for one night in a family room. The room had 3 old mattresses in the corner of the room with a wicker screen in front. Lamps didn't work and there was no mirror in the room. Guests were staying in the room next door who got up very noisily at 4.30 in the morning. Breakfast was very poor. The...

Dear guest, Iam sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay, I do not provide a cooked breakfast I do always say on the phone and advertize, that as well. Although I do provide cereal, bread for toast, marmalade , jams, fruit , yogurt and cheese and ham in the fridge, also fresh orange juice, tea and coffee. The...

I stayed for 3 weeks in February and Tracy was very friendly and accommodating. The single room was clean and warm. I asked for a bath towel and that was great. The bathroom is next to the room and very convenient. Looking over the graveyard did not bother me and it was lovely to see the Spring flowers out. The...

I am surprised by some of the reviews on here and I think it's because perhaps some people need to re-evaluate what they expect from a B&B. It's not a hotel, it's a bed for the night and a breakfast in the morning which this place does excellently. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, showers were clean and hygeinic. The...

Booked and paid for 5 days stay. Left at midnight before the last morning because I couldn't stand another night there. The bed was dreadful. Could feel every spring in it. Pillows were rubbish. Room over looked an impressively well kept graveyard and the incredibly busy and noisy A road - didn't get a lot of sleep and couldn't hear...

Dear guest, sorry to hear you left early and were not happy with your stay. Firstly I wish you had of spoken to me about the issues raised as I did meet you, and I had been away on holiday when you arrived on Monday. Nobody has ever mentioned the bed or pillows being rubbish, but I have replaced the...

When you need a good value bed and breakfast this is a great option in Aylesbury. In these days of austerity employers are watching the pennies then they will be pleased with this place and it is still comfortable, clean and welcoming. The owner is really friendly and the rooms are well presented, suitably equipped and very warm. The breakfast...

Having read the previous reviews (after booking) I was somewhat dubious about what to expect. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The landlady is lovely, very friendly and helpful. The room was warm, homely and comfortable with clean, soft towels and tea and coffee making facilities. I rarely stay in rooms without en suite but the bathrooms were very clean and...
