Wetherspoon revived the hotel side of the Bell just in time for my visit to mark 20 years since I was made redundant not far away. Sunday night bed only rate at £39 is lower than the Travelodge at £55 , and you enjoy some quality bedroom fittings, and in my room even a high clerestory skylight which has electrically...

This is potentially a good option in Aylesbury as the hotel element of this Wetherspoons pub is very new. The rooms are great and the beds comfortable. If you are staying avoid room 202 as it is next to a fire door which is very noisy and will wake you up throughout the night. If you sleep heavily the. You...

It's a shame we had as many issues as we did here because this place could genuinely be something special. I wasn't expecting much from a Wetherspoons hotel but the room was amazing. It was sizeable with a huge bed (two large singles pushed together), enough room to actually walk around and store luggage and a large bathroom. The bar...

This is a Wetherspoon hotel and we had an expectation of a good standard of accommodation. We were so happy with our room. Tastefully decorated, comfy bed, super clean. Could have spent the weekend in the room. The bar was great, staff friendly and food good. Certainly very good value for money and beats budget hotels hands down. Will be...

Years ago a THF hotel, very recently reopened as a Wetherspoons hotel. Excellent quiet really clean comfortable room on top floor, shame we missed the breakfasts - on arrival we were told it only started at 0800, on the second morning saw plates being cleaned up as we were leaving at 0800, shame. Very good value, perfect situation, right on...

Stayed here a couple of weeks after the hotel had opened - the furnishings were new and you could still smell the paint ! Very comfortable spacious room with electric blinds for the sky lights. Excellent bathroom and a very comfortable bed, Enjoyed the cooked breakfast at 7AM in front of a real fire in the back bar. Will definitely...

Good room, walk in shower (in some rooms) baths in others we were told. A very new addition to the Wetherspoons Hotel range. Food, as always, very good. Staff almost without exception are helpful and pleasant. The Bell is right in the centre of town, a two minute walk to the bus station and approximately 4 minutes walk to the...

Great location in the middle of town. Good reception from female manager and waitress. Male bar staff less obliging and slightly surly. Pleased with the room and bathroom. TV not connected to channels but not a problem. Iron and ironing board a bonus. Only downside was a lot of early morning noise from doors banging downstairs in the bar? Cleaners...

Met with old friends on a Saturday afternoon. We all thoroughly enjoyed Haggis, Neeps and Tatties which is on the menu for a week over Burns celebrations, together with the odd glass of Glenmorangie. And Macsween Haggis to boot, one of if not the best Haggis on the market. Well done Wetherspoons.
