Decided to take my young children to Bristol for the weekend, checking in on Friday 14th Jan. Check in was early, lady on the counter was lovey, Swift, pleasant check-in. Great start. We then went out for the day and had a wonderful time, but came back exhausted so I needed sleep. Sadly the scumbags in a room opposite had different plans. Woke me up at 02:30 loudly shouting in the corridor. Two males and a load of girls. Chatting about meeting their dealer downstairs etc. I called to reception six times. Reception responded each time but it didn’t stop them. This went on until 05:00 when they decided they wanted to fight each other this woke up my son and scared the life out of him. At this point I was furious. No sleep and a busy day ahead is one thing, but scaring a child is unforgivable. I relayed this to the gent on morning shift. He could apologise enough and gave us free breakfast, he interacted with my children and generally was a delight to deal with. He’s an absolute asset to the company. Saturday night we all slept wonderfully. Customer service makes all the difference in a hotel. I’d gone from angry with a miserable day ahead to happy because the receptionist had gone out of his way to make my and more importantly my kids weekend a good one. I didn’t get his name, but please thank him for me.

Perfect location, everything is in walking distance! Lovely staff and a perfect, comfortable stay - would definitely come back. Everything you want is at your door step / few mins walk away! Clean and comfy rooms. Parking - there is close parking that premier inn will give 25% discount for but it’s still expensive however v close but if you want cheaper parking and don’t mind walking a bit, i’d suggest downloading the app - parkopedia
