I only say surprising because I have never stayed at a Holiday Inn, but my wife did and did not have anything good to say about the experience. I stayed here on a business trip, and yes, it is a pricey Hotel, but given where it is, it is to be expected. I was delighted with the professional and helpful...

Stayed one night last week on our way down to Cornwall. The staff were extreemly polite and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The room clean and tidy and the aircon working fine. We even had our dog with us which slept in her normal bed in our room. Breakast was the usual food which and hot with plenty to...

The Hotel has a great atmosphere. Brilliant staff, comfortable, quiet room, easy to operate aircon. Really good breakfast, probably the best tasting coffee we've had with a free breakfast ... creamy scrambled eggs, a first, for me, in the UK! Good service at the bar and a proper pub next door, if you fancy a change. Only negatives are that...

Dear kathtownsend, Thank you very much or your 5* review on our hotel. It is fantastic to see that you found everything was to a great standard, we are always striving to achieve 100% guest satisfaction. I understand that the taxi journey into the city centre is expensive, there is the train station or bus which are cheaper options. We...

Having not stayed here for over 3 years, I ended up booked in as, for some unknown reason, my usual hotel was fully booked. The rooms are pretty standard HIE, clean, tidy but slightly low overall light levels and a rather small desk to work on. The AC seems to have a mind of its own although there was a...

Stayed for one night last weekend. Staff were all very polite, room was clean and spacious and breakfast more than adequate. Just what I expected from a Holiday Inn Express. Even the power cut as I checked out didn't phase anybody. Reception staff just took my details and emailed me the invoice once power was restored. Overall I was very...

Standard of accommodation is minimal. Bed is not comfortable and air conditioning heating is impossible to adjust. Blast of cold or hot air on the bed, with the noise to complement the storm. £167 for one night is excessive and breakfast is a joke.

Stayed here while I was in area doing work. Got a great rate online on their own site, and being a Holiday Inn Express, it includes free breakfast. Not a great variety of hot food on offer, but did I say it was free? For me it was a great location. 15-minute walk (less than a mile) from Bristol Parkway...

Convenient overnight stay hotel if you can avoid surrounding traffic bottlenecks, typically expensive for a budget stop but clean, warm and within market rates. Elevator to the top floor took ages (just use the stairs instead) and breakfast was mediocre.
