Clean, comfortable and very friendly team at the Regency. Very happy to oblige when we asked for fresh milk in our jug in place of the mini cartons of UHT and gladly provided an iron when my husband (very out of character!) asked for one. We would happily stay again. Do consider though that Bristol is a city and there... More

Great hotel, conveniently located and comfortable, clean and well presented. I stayed in a single room last night, arrived late evening, quick check in, and friendly receptionist. Room, clean tidy and quiet, all I needed was there. Didn't even get the horrid pre-check out bang on the door from the maid prior to check out time. Worth the stars and... More

The Regency is a traditional building renovated to provide clean, comfortable rooms with modern facilities. The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful during my short stay. There is also some off street parking which was an added bonus.

Stayed here for two weeks, was the worst place ever! Three receptionist, two males and one female; the males are really nice but the female who is also the manager is really rude! I was told I was a headache because I asked for the iron and iron board twice, she walked into my colleagues room and started shouting at... More

The regency is well situated in the attractive Clifton part of the city. My deluxe room was spacious with a very comfortable bed and modern bathroom. Reception was friendly and efficient and parking was free after 6.00 pm. The continental breakfast at £7.95 was very poor value with very limited items available to select from.

We stayed here on thurs and fri as we were looking after a sick relative and could not be more pleased with the room and hospitality we encountered. We had a lovely warm welcome from Praveen and she was lovely and helpful throught our stay we chatted to each time we were in Reception. The decor as you enter the... More

I was visiting Bristol for a conference at the university and, after two days, switched from a four-star hotel to the Regency Bristol Hotel because of price. I'm so happy I did as the Regency, in my opinion, is a far nicer hotel. First, the staff at the hotel are wonderful. Specifically, the dark-haired woman at the front desk, as... More

I was in Bristol for a conference, and chose this hotel for price and location. It served it's purpose well, being a short walk from many points of interest. I had a simple but clean and comfortable room, and the WIFI was good. Ticked all the boxes for a budget hotel.

Tried to cancel my last nights stay here as travel plans changed. Was informed that as my booking had already commenced even though I was cancelling with 48 hours notice that it wasn't possible as it was considered part of one booking. Nowhere in booking this or email is this ever mentioned. Shoddy and money grabbing. Noisy rooms. Bathroom water... More

The hotel is situated close to the University so in case you are visiting it and are looking for a relatively low-priced stay in Bristol this place is fine. The manager and staff were very kind, very wiling to help and to give directions and suggestions. The room was a bit disappointing since it was on the basement, small and... More
