This is a really lovely pub/hotel. The evening food is fabulous, and the rooms are very nice considering the price. The only downside is that the breakfast service is very slow, and the service isn't very attentive. The focus is very much on being a (very good) pub, but it takes so long to pay and eat in the morning...

Had lunch here with two friends. Staff very chatty, warm and friendly. We has one special of the day and two different soups. All were good, wholesome and flavoursome. No rush to get us in and out again . Very relaxed. Will be back.

First visit to the pub , the atmosphere was good , ordered a burger with extra onion rings for a £1 extra . The burger arrived with two small onion rings, I ask the waiter that "this is the most expensive onion rings I have ever paid for" before I finished , the waiter runs to the kitchen to bring...

Lovely food, beautiful decor. Wonderful staff. I was called away by a family issue just as my dinner arrived. I came back an hour later and they gave me a new, fresh dinner! Lovely people saved the fraught evening! Hurrah! We nearly won the quiz too😉. Great place. Will go again.

4 of us went to The Wellington for dinner on Saturday 28th January, booking the table online was quick and easy. Our daughter lives locally and we had previously stayed in Clifton if there's was a crowd in their house. The Wellington is such a lovely place in the true boutique style hotel. The decor in the bedroom very soothing with...

Stayed one night for a work event the next day nearby. Check in was quick and easy and I was even taken to my room, where the staff member checked that everything was in order. The room was very nice and modern, the bed big and comfy. Was delighted to see a one-cup cafetiere and a big box of ground...

Despite it being packed (Rovers were home) we had a lovely lunch sat between Gasheads and AFC Wimbledon fans which made for a great atmosphere. Haddock was superb. Wine's not cheap but I knew the price before I went in !
