I stayed at this hotel as my daughter is currently living a short walk away so very convenient. We were seeing a show at the Hippodrome Theatre which was very easy to get to with a bus stop to town right outside. My room was small as described but very comfortable and had a god choice of tea, coffee etc....

The room was very comfortable and of a good size. Plenty of comfy seating too. However,it was a little cold. The only real issue was the temperamental toilet! The breakfast was rather good. We went down on the late side of things and there was plenty of choice of 'breakie'and seemiingly freshly replenished. Car park is a little cramped but...

We are regular visitors to Bristol and particularly love the Clifton area . Our first stay in this hotel will unfortunately be our last . Our large double was on the lower ground floor with a view of the car park and a lot of traffic noise . We were kept awake by a door banging throughout the night ....

Dear Jane, you stayed with us on the night that storm "Barney" passed through Bristol. It was unfortunately a very disturbed night for many Bristol residents, with tree branches falling and localised problems. Although we try to ensure that all guests enjoy their stay, unfortunately we have not yet mastered controlling the weather. You complained that you were disturbed by...

Good quality hotel, in the heart of Clifton. Close to shops and local attractions. Originally a Georgian Residence on Victoria Square, this hotel offers good sized rooms. Our room was huge, one of the biggest I've ever stayed in. Breakfast was very nice, with a good selection on offer. Ample parking available to the rear of the building. If you...

Agata on reception was just so efficient and lovely. The room was clean and just a great place to stay. It was central to the town, restaurants and the pubs. You can go to Clifton village within minutes where there are many shops, bars and just a lovely atmosphere.

I stay in Bristol several times a year as my son lives here now. The positives; Location is very good. Breakfast was surprisingly good for a buffet style help yourself. Parking on site which is a big bonus as spaces hard to come by in surrounding area. Negatives; Building and room on the tired side, heating in room barely worked....

Close to the Suspension Bridge and Clifton. You can have a good night out in Clifton and roll back here for a good nights sleep. It was very comfortable room with an exceptional large bed. The breakfast was also very enjoyable. My only gripe was the soap was in one of those dispenser on the side of the shower where...

We were attending a wedding at Bristol Grammar School and looking for a good hotel for the night. Good reviews for this one and we can only add to that. Service was good, rooms were clean. We were on the top floor which was a bit of a hike up steep stairs with bags though. Car parking was tight, there...

Stayed here on the 1st and 2nd of October as it was fairly close to the zoo where we were booked to go on the big cat experience (well worth a visit) and the area looked like a nice place with good bars and places to eat nearby and we weren't disappointed. Every pub and restaurant was lovely albeit a...

I stayed at the hotel on business recently for two nights, and although the reception staff and other staff were polite, the female Manager was very abrupt and rude. I won't be returning due to her attitude. She was very curt in her replies and unhelpful when I asked about breakfast times. I felt she almost mocked me when I...
