Stayed here two nights with friends. We had large spacious rooms of the third floor - which were well appointed and spotlessly clean. The hotel, while on the outskirts of Bristol, is on a regular bus route in and out of the city - so you can leave your car in the car park. All the staff were extremely friendly...

We had a one night stay at the weekend, so the restaurant was not open in the evening. Local options in walking distance are not great, Toby Carvery or a few take-aways / a balti house (mostly serving take away / deliveries). The accommodation is in a lovely old house. The room was spacious and clear, with a large bathroom...

We stayed two nights at the hotel to attend a wedding in the city. Our room was upstairs in the annexe and was very comfortable and well appointed. A lovely ensuite bathroom was attached which also contained a surprisingly large built-in wardrobe, although with a low hanging rail, full length dresses or coats might be a problem. These rooms are...

We stayed here for a family wedding just five minutes away. Reviews were great so we weren't worried but as a very fussy guest, I'm always a little apprehensive. Expectations were surpassed in every way. The room was spotless and the bathroom modern and attractive. Breakfast was delicious with home-made jams and high quality produce and the gardens just the...

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for one evening at an extremely reasonable £69 for B&B. The lady on Reception was very professional, warm and friendly - and was willing to please throughout our stay. The grounds are charming and breakfast was splendid. The hotel is situated in the old part of Henbury, which means we were just...

Stayed two nights. Staff were lovely. We had the restaurant to ourselves on the Friday night as all other guests were from a wedding party and were out together. Breakfast first rate. Food well presented. Lovely garden (we didn't get to enjoy as it rained most of the time). Good centre for touring the area. Went to Bath and Cheddar...

The breakfast is served by a very friendly lady who takes well care of all your needs. The reception staff is most helpful and even arranges some late sandwiches if you return after closere of...

Lovely room with a very comfortable bed so had a very good night's sleep. Breakfast had a good selection of cooked/continental. My meeting was down the road from this hotel so for me it was extremely convenient but I don't know how close it is to general points of interest.
