Stayed for one night on a weekend. Really nice and friendly and welcoming. I had an ensuite on the ground floor. Plenty big enough. Clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast, fresh coffee and croissants too. What's not to like? Parking is a bit of a nightmare, its all on the street and it gets pretty packed. But close to Gloucester Road...

Excellent Hotel 15mins walk north of the Bus station and city centre. Room was en-suite, clean and comfortable, TV, Tea making facilities, wifi. Breakfast was continental, cereal, juice, croissants and toast. Wendy was a lovely host, would highly recommend .

The hotel is in a good location at a very competitive price. The manager was very friendly and gave us a great welcome. The room was fine, if a little dated, similar for the bathrooms. The room could have done with a little more attention to detail in the cleaning, but it was nothing major. Breakfast was fine (cereal, toast,...

This is a reasonably priced B&B. It provides comfortable beds and a homely atmosphere. I was travelling on my own and was instantly made to feel at ease by the staff. I stayed in an en-suite, which had tea and coffee, t.v, and wi-fi. There were plenty of fresh towels and a hair-dryer in the room. I slept well. Thank...

I have just moved to Bristol for a new job and I stayed for 2 nights at the Arches recently whilst I was moving between flats, and I have to say it was one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had whilst I've been in Bristol! Francois and Wendy were incredibly nice and friendly people and made me feel very...

I stayed in the hotel for one night as I had an interview the next day. The host could not have been more welcoming, the room was lovely and the food was very nice. I would definitely stay here again.

Visited my daughter in Bristol University. Francois and Wendy are great. :) Im from NY and not a big traveller - they made me feel so comfortable. I travelled alone and I felt at home. Loved staying with them and love England - such a beautiful country. And have recommended them to family members when visiting. :)

Lovely experience with a lovely warm welcome from the owners. Well placed for transport to town and also Temple Meads station. Comfortable room & en suite. Lovely choice for continental breakfast which is included. There are steps up to the property from the road which may not be ideal with some luggage.

I arrived later than I had expected but received a nice welcome from the owner. Comfortable ensuite double room at a reasonable rate for single occupancy. Good continental breakfast with plenty of choice. Overall a nice hotel in great location. One small disadvantage is that the hotel doesn't have its own parking but the owner can provide permits for on...

I was very impressed by the welcome I received, especially as I arrived in the middle of the day, which the owners accomodated without a murmur. Helpful and comprehensive explanation of the facilities, both in the hotel and locally. The free wifi was a bonus; many large establishments happily charge for the privilege. The location is well placed for accessing...
