This hotel is a little outside the centre sights of Bristol, but has parking at £15 per day. The reception is up one floor from the car park and our check-in was well handled by Jack who was pleasant and helpful when our preferred room was designed out of commission. We were given room 520. It was small in size with a tight bathroom. It was neat and tidy and clean with a good bed. The TV remote batteries were dead though. The view of the church was nice. Two slight faults with the room was that you could not put the security chain on when the door was shut only when open. Not so good if you’ve forgotten to to it then someone knocks. Also the spy hole was placed a little too high for someone 5’6”. Breakfast was in the Kiln restaurant and our server Chris was very good and served us well. The food was nice under the Covid conditions. Overall a pleasant stay

Stayed for one night in May. The hotel is located near the city centre and accessing the hotel through Bristol Friday afternoon traffic wasn't easy. On-site car parking is available for £15 a night. It's an easy walk into the centre. Breakfast in the kiln restaurant was good. Check your credit card statement we we're charged for an upgrade we didn't get and weren't informed of, they have now resolved the issue and refunded the money.

We had initially booked for a 3 night stay at another hotel in Bristol but when we arrived it was closed. It had probably not re-opened after the relaxation of Covid rules, but would have been nice to know! Anyway this hotel saved us a long drive back home. From check in to check our 3 nights later it was perfect. A great location to also visit other places from; we went to Bath, Weston-Super-Mare and Cardiff. Our room was very clean and very comfortable. All the usual amenities were there plus it had a shower instead of a bath which was fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful no matter what the query. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or to recommend it to anyone.

It has the best outdoor water feature I have ever seen, heard of experienced. It sounded like a blessed frog on heat. I enjoyed the lifts it had up and down features. The bar is lively and full of fun. I would go there again on. If you could bottle the atmosphere you could sell it at a decent wake. The bedding was fanstaic at soaking up numerous stains and accidents. The room service was tip top and the young man joined in all the action.

We booked here for 2 nights over the bank holiday weekend, we checked in around 5pm. There are 4 staff check in windows at reception but only 2 members of staff checking guests in, due to this reason to check in took 30 minutes in total. £15 for 24hrs parking which i was expecting. When we finally got up to our room we wasn’t the most impressed seeing as we’d payed £240 for it. The bathroom was very small, definitely the smallest hotel bathroom I’ve ever used. The shower cubicle was very tight not much room to move about. The mattress was rock hard, after staying here me and my fiancé both came away with back aches. But the biggest NO NO of all was that when we walked over to the window in our room there was a pair of underwear on the floor. I went to reception to tell the gentleman on the desk and he said someone would be up to re-clean our room. We were out for the night for around 4 hours came back and no-one had cleaned our room by this time it was 11pm, I thought I’d give them the benefit of the doubt due to the time of night so I left it till the following day. We we’re out all day until around 4:30pm, came back and our room - still it hadn’t even been touched so again back to reception I went. Spoke to the manager who was very apologetic and told us to please sit in the bar for 10 minutes and said we could have a free drink of our choice on them (I should think so to after that). Went back and our room and it had been cleaned and the underwear had been removed. It shouldn’t have to take a guest 2 attempts to get a pair of another guests underwear removed from their room, also there are ‘clean zone’ stickers on all the hotel room doors to say how they had been cleaned to a high standard due to covid. Well this definitely didn’t happen with our room. This weekend away was mine and my fiancé’s 10 year Anniversary and we were very let down by this hotel and also by the way the situation was handled. I am definitely definitely never going to this hotel again ....
