Big, busy commercial hotel with all the amenities you would expect. Close to the centre of the city and within easy walking distance of the shops and station. Recommended for a weekend visit or perhaps longer.

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

This is the first time we have stopped at the Grand since the refurbishment. What a transformation! Fresh new look throughout with modern greeting area rather than traditional reception with stylish shower rooms to bedrooms and large screen tv completing the makeover. We will be returning to enjoy this hotel with perhaps the best location in the city

We have just arrived home after a great stay at this hotel. Staff were polite and helpful with a special mention to Paul who repeatedly engaged my son in full conversations about all sorts including local things to do and Pokemon cards. Helpful can't begin to describe this incredibly kind member of the Hotel team. My son wanted to give...

Central location with parking next door. We joined friends for Easter Sunday and found it a good base to explore central Bristol. Staff were professional and helpful in every way our room was spacious and recently refurbished with all mod cons and a extremely comfortable bed that was difficult to get out of. Breakfast was self service with plenty of...

We had heard that the Grand Hotel had undergone a refurbishment before we arrived and we're very much looking forward to seeing it. I have to say how impressed I was, the rooms are amazing - very cool and modern. The reception team and concierge were very professional and knew Bristol well so could make local recommendations. We went to...

A friend of mine recently stayed at this hotel although her stay was adequate. She was horrified to find when leaving that her car and another hotel guests car windows had been smashed and broken into and various items stolen from the "secure" "manned" hotel car park. The hotel are not accepting any responsibility not offered to pay for the...

I had a brilliant one night stay with my Husband. We have stayed in Mercure hotels before but this one has a real unique feel. It takes the Street Art that Bristol is so well known for and mixes it with quirky homely additions of plush sofas and kitchen tables. The bar is a great place to relax for a...

Don't get me wrong.....the location is about as central as you can get and there is a car park in the adjacent building (which you pay for).....very convenient as this enables you to walk to just about everything from here. We know Bristol very well having just moved out of the city and were here to celebrate a friends birthday....
