This was our first time with the Bristol hotel and the Doyle group. Ours was a romantic weekend for two whilst attending a wedding in Clifton. I had specified a harbour view when booking and that is what we got. Check in was straight forward all details present and correct, card swiped and complimentary papers and car parking sorted. Now...

I recently stayed at The Bristol Hotel, and although just for one night, I was very impressed with it. The location is perfect, on the riverbank and close to the harbour, while Nelson street is only a short walk away, and so is the university. The room was very spacious and it had all I could want: tea and coffee...

I booked this hotel for my boyfriends birthday. Overall we had an amazing experience. The location was perfect, right next to the Harbor with plenty of great restaurants within waling distance. There was complimentary parking. The room was well decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Having a brief break in Bristol, we booked a night in the Bristol Hotel. The check in staff were friendly and helpful, and explained we could park on the 5th floor in the car park and go directly into our 5th floor room in the hotel which worked very well. Our room was on the small side but very clean,...

This hotel is in an excellent location - especially for us as we were going to a wedding on the SS Great Britain. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The receptionist (Elizabeth) was extremely welcoming and went out of her way to find us a phone charger. We had upgraded to a larger room but on arrival we were...

Overall this is a well situated and appointed hotel. It is let down however by the lack of air conditioning. Last night we had the choice of sweltering in our bed or not being able to sleep with the the windows open. Whichever side you stay on is noisy, either from traffic or from nightlife. It's a shame apart from that...

Dear Flyboy192, Thank you for the review on your recent stay. I was sorry to read you did not have a peaceful sleep. We only have air conditioning in our Deluxe rooms within the hotel. We are currently working on extending this through all of superior rooms over the coming months for which we are sure will isolate any further...

For the previous three or four years, we have broken our annual trip to St Ives in Cornwall, by stopping en route in the Cotswolds, or somewhere at the bottom of the M5. As I have held a long term desire to visit the SS Great Britain, we decided this year to break our journey by diverting to Bristol. As...

Lovely, friendly staff (particularly Mariana), room very clean and comfortable. Nespresso machine and plenty of different teas and coffees. The only negative was that my room was described as having a bath, but only had a shower. Apart from that, very good, would stay again.

Hotel walking distance to most things in Bristol, by Harbourside with lots of restaurants and ten minutes walk to city centre.Room was bright and cheerful with waterfront view with trees obscuring the water! I am sure in winter its better. Nice staff.

A good 4 Star Hotel centrally located in Bristol. The most mentionable part is they allowed an early check-in (yay!) after a 12-hour flight and the least mentionable is their 24-hour room service never picked up my call one night...but hey, maybe that's for the better.
