This was the first time I had stayed at the Bristol, nothing was to much trouble from the staff. In fact I would say they exceeded expectations. Minor point for me was queuing to be seated for breakfast to be delivered to the table was not fast enough (trouble may have been was full of business people).

The hotel location is excellent, check is was efficient. The room was very small with an extremely small space as a wardrobe. The bed was rather soft, but that may be personal preference. The bathroom was good size and nice but the tap to control shower water temperature wouldn't move. The breakfast was super and with a nice view facing...

Spent two nights here last weekend. Received a very warm welcome from girl on reception. There was some sort of a glitch in the system and they offered us complimentary drinks while they sorted it. The bar was relaxing and cosy. The rooms were very comfortable. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant one night which was good rather than...

We stayed for one night, in order to attend a family celebration in the city. Nice waterfront location, hotel looks very tired from the outside but is bright and comfortable inside. Disappointed to find that the bar was closed on our return, as we had been told when booking that the night porter will be at the bar all night....

Dear Jenny343, Thank you for taking the time out to leave us a review. Generally we will keep the bar open at night if there are guests around d to avail of it, if not we tend to close the night bar at 1am. I’ll ensure the team are aware of the message they deliver to guests on the night...

Efficient check in, quiet room, comfortable bed. Best of all is the central location of this venue. On the banks of the famous floating harbour where the bridge. crosses to the vibrant restaurant/ bar area of the city it is in easy walking distance to many top "must visit" places in Bristol. The Hippodrome theatre is an easy walk. A...

Stayed for one night as part of our anniversary weekend. We have been staying in this hotel for many years and to be fair we will return. Our disappointment began when we entered our room.I had only booked a double and not our usual deluxe room due to the fact that we were only there for a night. The room was...

Loved the location right by the harbourside. Staff on reception were very welcoming and helpful. All the staff I spoke to were pleasant and cared about my stay. The room did not have air conditioning and to get this you need to upgrade to a deluxe room. Rather odd in a four star hotel, would expect to this to be...

Great service , lovely decor . very good value , ideally located for shopping and nightlife and parking right next door . Hotel bar also very reasonably priced . Definitely would stay again . The walls were a little thin , but luckily no rowdy revellers next door :)
