Great location at Harbourside. Rooms good and bed so comfortable. Great large towels. Only downside was Saturday breakfast. Dining room not big enough so had to wait. Also buffet food not properly kept hot. Mmuch better Sunday morning. Overall a great hotel.

Booked this last minute and pictures online looked better than similarly priced hotels, but certainly room pictures are on the flattering side. Had booked a superior double (hate to think what the standard would be like) and it was one of the smallest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. Bed old-fashioned double (4'6"), so cosy night for the two...

Plus side, excellent location, ideal parking......Although, very small double beds. Bathroom is so compact, not suitable for those with broad shoulders. Very noisy, the walls are like paper to a point where you can hear your neighbour switching lights on!!!! The breakfast was awful, even though the hotel was full of guests, all items on the hotplate were dry as...

Well it's as good as The Marriot but less expensive. Bed was very comfortable with thick padded mattress topper which makes a huge difference to quality of sleep. Room was very well decorated and furnished and the whole hotel had an air of quality about it. Staff were very pleasant and efficient. Excellent location as well. We were given a...

Stayed at the Bristol Hotel for my wife’s birthday on a Saturday and Sunday in September. Asked for (and got) a room overlooking the waterfront but high enough to avoid the Saturday night noise from the revellers. Staff were brilliant – friendly and efficient – and took the trouble to warn us that they had two wedding parties on the...

Stayed with family 6th/7th September. Great location. Couldn't be nearer to the Tour Bus and the Ferry. Several of Bristol's excellent restaurants in walking distance.Didn't try the restaurant, apart from for breakfast which was really good, even smoked salmon. Fabulous view of the passing boats and ferries. Nice touch in the lobby of home made lemonade on tap. very refreshing....

This was the first time I had stayed at the Bristol, nothing was to much trouble from the staff. In fact I would say they exceeded expectations. Minor point for me was queuing to be seated for breakfast to be delivered to the table was not fast enough (trouble may have been was full of business people).

The hotel location is excellent, check is was efficient. The room was very small with an extremely small space as a wardrobe. The bed was rather soft, but that may be personal preference.
