We visited Crackenback Farm restaurant in March 2022 as part of a trip to the Snowy Mountains area. We were very impressed with the standard of the food at Crackenback Farm & Restaurant. It's in a lovely, quiet area between Thredbo and Jindabyne. Service was very good as well.

Beautiful stay at the farm, rooms were cosy, clean and comfortable with a little loft of spare beds. Service was very personal and location superb. Felt like a home stay, with a cosy communal lounge and bar area.

Once again we just had a cracker of a dinner at Crackenback Farm. This is our go to restaurant for special family occasions or just a quick drop in for a drink and a bit of a shop in the providore section. I actually bought all our Easter eggs there this year! Jodie and her team are always welcoming, the service is always excellent and the food delish. We consider ourselves lucky to have such a top notch spot in our beautiful Snowy Mountains. Recommend booking - especially as we head into winter.

From the moment we arrived the hospitality was flawless. We were greeted and shown our accomodation before being shown to a private dining room for Guesthouse guests only. They had the heater on in anticipation of our arrival and the room was exceptional, art and decor was unique and comfortable. Our accomodation was tastefully decorated with plenty of original pieces of art and very clean. Beds were comfortable, linen crisp white and clean with beautiful fluffy pillows. Breakfast was served in the restaurant overlooking the farm, we were lucky enough to score a table close to the fireplace and enjoyed fresh seasonal fruits with yogurt, eggs anyway with a side of mushrooms and crispy bacon topped by a fantastic coffee. What a great place to stay... I highly recommend Crackenback Farm if you are lucky enough to snag a date thats vacant

We loved it so much we went back two nights in a row. Having had rather ordinary and expensive meals in Thredbo, I was delighted to find this charming restaurant with delicious food and great service. Everything tasted out of this world! Doesnt matter what you have off the menu, its sure to be a hit. ....although my husband would rate the Apple and plum crumble above everything else! Can't wait to go back. Next time we'll stay there too. Well done team, so nice to find a place in Australia with good staff, wonderful atmosphere and fine food.

I met up with my Sister and husband from Melbourne. We drove 6 hours from Sydney. About half way for both couples. My husband and I can highly recommend Crackenback Farm & Guesthouse. We stayed 3 nights over the Easter weekend. A three course dinner & hot breakfast was included in our nightly rate. Every course at dinner was superb, with a very extensive wine list to match. A farm fresh hot breakfast, with a made to order cappuccino was waiting for us each morning. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The location was very good. We made a visit to the Wild Brumby Distillery across the road, rode the quad chair at Thredbo and walked to the Summit return and visited Jindabyne, Lake Crackenback and walked around the lakes the following day. The temperature was around 25 degrees in April and the changes of the Autumn colours in the trees was an added bonus. We will definitely be returning. Anna and Bruce.

We were looking for a place to stay for two nights near Jindabyne so that we could visit Thredbo and surrounding area in National Park. Our stay was memorable as it was so comfortable and the staff couldn’t do enough to ensure our stay was enjoyable. We had dinner in the evening at the farmhouse and again it was superb Many thanks to all the staff

We spent 2 nights at this cosy boutique hotel in crackenback! Built similar to European alpine hotels, one gets the feeling of being transported to the alpine the moment you enter!! The team is very thoughtful & helpful! The best thing about the hotel is their restaurant! OMG, its fine dining at your mother’s house! Generous portion & extremely tasty food! We tried the duck, spatchcock, trout, pork all were excellent! I advise you to have a light lunch! The breakfast was excellent too! Good coffee, fruits and proper cooked breakfast! Very centrally located with easy access to Thredbo & Jindabyne! My only recommendation to the hotel is Better WIFI strength in the room especially due to lack of mobile signal in the rooms! Increased water pressure on the shower!

Booked for the Thursday Special Seafood night at Crackenback Lodge. Being treated to a menu prepared and cooked by Jodie Evans was an absolute treat. We stayed the night, the room was comfortable and looked out over the beautiful natural gardens. Next morning after a delicious and generous breakfast I bought a couple of Jodie’s take home meals, The chicken, mushroom and leek soup was stunning. Expect us back and next time we will book for the a la carte menu.
