9 of us visited today after a trip to the waterfalls. We did try to eat at the plough but they stopped serving unfortunately. Firstly we ordered the meals, we were very organised, the bar staff taking the order was not, seemed very fed up and annoyed with us for some reason. Anyway, starters came out fine, then the mains...

This is a little pub at the heart of the small village of Llangynog surrounded by breathtaking mountains and stunning views. This pub has no heirs and graces but its staff are friendly, approachable and make you feel welcome. The food is excellent, enormous portions and a good selection of good solid pub grub. We were here over the Easter...

The New Inn is a place where there are no heirs and graces. It welcomes everyone from any walk of life. It is a half way house from England to the Welsh coast, where people stop off to use the public conveniences and a quick drink before on their way. Or you are staying at theit B&B or close to...

Pub car park full, thought must be good. Not a single other person in the pub, and I had to park in the neighbouring municipal car park. Pay on ordering, always makes me wary and with good reason, food far from good. Gravy so think obviously a microwave job. Sausages had more meat products than meat. Not be stopping here...

Thank you for your recent visit. After reviewing CCTV footage and speaking to the staff member that served you, I am confused as to why you didn't let us know that you were unhappy with your food. A member of staff did a check back to make sure you were happy and everything was satisfactory for you, which you said...

Had a wonderful meal with family and have to say that the Sunday lunch here justifies its reputation. A hugely popular eating venue and people travel a fair distance for the Sunday lunch, I can see why, great value. Could do with a few more waiting and bar staff, the staff seemed rushed off their feet although remained helpful and...

Busy little pub, which offers rooms upstairs, reasonably priced. The food was a great... from the Steak in the evening to the full English in the morning and the Sunday Roast in the afternoon! The staff are all friendly, and very welcoming. Rooms are Standard....but they do the job. Bed was very comfy! Would definitely recommend here.

This is a very comfortable and reasonably priced place to stay for Mick Extance enduro experience. Had breakfast and evening meals for two nights. Both meals very nice and evening meals cost less that £10 for main course and a good selection of very tasty meals. Wifi works fine and it was possible to use for Skype. Which is good...

We were staying in nearby accommodation for a week in November and used the New Inn three evenings for food and drink. The food quality was only average and the prices were on the high side. The staff were pleasant and helpful and there was a good choice of well kept beers. The biggest problem for me was the foul...

Good pub grub, very friendly, speedy service, free wifi, well kept ale. What more could you want? Prices good. Poor mobile reception in village so this provides a great service to visitors like me. Well worth visiting.
