I had stayed here before so finding it was not a problem. This establishment can be really described in relatively few words. Lovely room, lovely setting, lovely couple and lovely breakfast. I can only highly recommend.

I booked this lovely B & B for 2 nights as it was central to the attractions I wanted to visit without paying a big tariff. I was offered a choice of rooms so I took the annexe overlooking the pretty garden. The room was spacious, and the bed wonderfully comfortable. Ian and Carol were delightful hosts. Lovely homely, warm B&B, very welcoming with comfortable beds and soft duvets. Everything is spotless and nothing is too much trouble.Great for walkers as they don't mind doing an early breakfast at 7am which when daylight hours are short, gives a headstart. It is a bit hard to find the School House in the darkness but all the instructions need...

On our arrival, we were warmly greeted by Carol and Ian and booked into our room very quickly and efficiently. We had brought a picnic lunch which we ate in their lovely garden and...

Stayed here for the Hay-on-Wye book fair – bit far out, but scenery was beautiful and The Old School was a lovely place to stay: comfortable room, excellent amenities, fantastic full cooked breakfast that set us up for the day. Very friendly and welcoming with fantastic service provided. Can definitely recommend.
