Unfortunately when we arrived, along with another couple, the gentleman at the desk was trying to sort out a problem over the phone. He tried to summon help which was a little slow but eventually showed up. We had a brief tour of the bar and breakfast area and were shown to our room (Room 2). When we had originally...

Perfectly situated between Ross on Wye and Hereford we stayed here just for one night in room 16, but wish we could have stayed longer, the hotel is family run with a highly professional team it feels well managed in a relaxed and happy atmosphere. There is a reasonably priced menu and wine list. Food and service is wonderful, I...

Stopped for a late lunch on our journey. Our server - Trevor - was great. Attentive despite having had a very busy lunchtime. The dining room was clean, comfortable with a great view. The food was very well presented and delicious.

Have just returned from a 2 night stay. We stayed in Room 17, no noisy neighbours, having upgraded on a Buyagift voucher. The view was worth it and the room a good size with double and single beds - perfect for friend and I. We ate both nights in the restaurant and found the food very enjoyable with large portions...

Very lovely helpful staff at this hotel, always with a smile on their faces. Lovely room with a super big king size bed and a beautiful view over the Wye Valley. Only booked in for 2 nights but decided to stay on for another 2 as ideally situated for getting around all the local area. We had a meal in...

Stayed for a long weekend and had a fantastic stay right through from checking in to checking out. To be honest some of the areas need updating - but that’s it. The service from the staff was outstanding, no corporate rhetoric, but friendly and approachable staff who cared, ensuring you have a good stay. Jacob in the restaurant deserves a...

Booked dinner B&B. Full choice from dinner menu included, decent wine choice including by the glass. Clean comfy room and fresh cooked breakfast. Hard to fault. Plenty of parking and open grounds to the rear of the hotel.

Found the hotel through trip advisor so was able to book a room for a business trip. Very welcoming and friendly staff and the room was nice and clean. The restaurant food was also very good as well as the breakfast in the morning. The reason I gave it 4 stars was because I struggled with getting a wifi signal...
