The cottages aren't fancy but they are they offer a cozy retreat in a nice, tranquil setting. There's Peekaboo views of active pass and easy access to amenities in Sturdies Bay, the ferry and more. Friendly staff and a reasonable cost, too add to the appeal.

I've been escaping to Driftwood village every now and then since 2000. I keep coming back, especially in the sholder season when the prices are more in my range. I would definitely reccomend it to anyone looking for a peaceful weekend with the family or a romantic retreat. The cabins do vary, and in general it seems the ones named...

We, and successive generations of our dogs, have been coming back to this place at different seasons for nearly 20 years, and have just come back from our latest visit. It remains a wonderfully friendly place, comfortable, relaxing and homely. The view out towards Active Pass is lovely, and there is easy hiking access to the Bluffs, Matthew's Point and...

Once again, our experience staying at the Driftwood Village Resort has been a positive experience. After about 7 years of going there, we are now part of the family. It feels like our little home away from home, but without the city traffic, construction noise, and smoggy air. Galiano Island is an oasis for serenity and peace. Driftwood allows us...

My husband and I stayed here two nights in the Lilac Cottage. It was cozy, rustic, and comfortable. We even saw deer just outside our cottage munching on the grass! Shelley, the manager, was very pleasant and easygoing. We enjoyed our peaceful, relaxing stay. We would definitely consider staying here again next time we visit Galiano Island. I like that...

We've been visiting this place for 20 years. It is friendly, homely and blissfully relaxed. The staff -- more like friends really -- are unobtrusively helpful and down-to-earth. Galiano is a beautiful and laid-back place. It's not trendy, just friendly, intelligent and slightly eccentric. I hope it stays that way.

We booked 2 cottages at driftwood for a thanksgiving weekend stay. Getting to driftwood from the ferry was easy enough, a pleasent 20 min walk. The cottages are lovely and peaceful. All the cotttages are situated such that each has its own privacy..yet are not too far away from each other as this was important especially as we travelled as...

Was exactly what I was looking for...my own cabin on a beautiful quiet island, in the woods, with an ocean view, clean, cozy & comfy... everyone on staff went out of their way to make me feel at home. Bring your own tea & coffee and settle in west coast style!

I had a fast 24 hour window in my busy life for relaxation and getting away. It's lucky that Driftwood is so close and convenient to Van and the pick up from the ferry makes it even better. In just a short night and day I got to do a whole vacation's worth of relaxing...gazing out the window at the...
