Travelled up to Port Hardy with the family and friends for some hiking and fishing at the end of June. Stayed for 3 nights at Bear Cove Cottages, which were perfect in every way. The cabin we stayed in had a large bunk bed for the kids and plenty of room for us in a comfy Queen. The cabins were...

These self-contained cottages are tastefully decorated with a west coast flavour. An outside deck with a small table and chairs make for a perfect perch to enjoy a glass of wine while taking in the beautiful ocean view. Inside, the cabins have everything one could ask for and more. A deep soaker jetted tub, fireplace, sky light and uber cozy...

The host and hostess are very friendly. They go all the way to make us feel at home. Great for family, couple, honeymooners, family reunion, etc. Even though these cabins are 12 years old. It looks like new - very well maintained.

Cottages were cozy, comfy and very clean. Wife loved the jacuzzi tube. The views from the window and patio are stunning that over looks the water. Also loved watching around 20 eagles put on a Aerial show around the cottages. The services was friendly, attentive and very accommodating.. especially for a travelling party of 2 adults, 1 child, 1 infant...

Owners- Friendly, welcoming, the kind of people you feel good about supporting Accomodations- Jetted tub even has foot jets. Spectacular views with patio furniture to enjoy a glass of ------ on the balcony. Wildlife to view. Clean, comfortable, smell of cedar. My hubby had to work in Port Hardy so I came along for the ride. So glad I did....

I stayed at Bear Cove Cottages for 28 days in 2013, to enjoy some much deserved annual leave. Time off of being a Lightkeeper who works every day for 47 weeks straight, and being able to simply relax without stress is rejuvenating. The huge challenges of finding any places that were comfortable enough without being too expensive were seemingly non...

Bear Cove Cottages is a wonderful place to begin a Canada vacation! We visited in June 2013 and stayed three nights, and couldn't have been more pleased with our choice of Bear Cove Cottages. Bear Cove is easy to find and within walking distance to the BC Ferry pick-up location. Our cottage was clean and well appointed with all the...

We booked a multiple day stay and stayed in cottage #6. We were apparently the only folks at the cottages, so it was very disappointing that we were placed into a cottage in which staff and owner knew the shower was broken. i.e. the portion that holds the shower head was broken, therefore my 70 plus year old mother and...

We first of all thank you for choosing our establishment for you and your mother's getaway.I remember when you left that you did tell me everything was great...except for the broken shower head.I was fully booked two of your four nights,as I see you thought you were the only guests here.It was a simple misunderstanding between my cleaning staff and...

I rarely need to give negative reviews but feel the need to here. Accommodation Firstly there is absolutely nowhere to put away any clothing as there are no drawers, shelves or cupboards just a couple of coat hangers on a wall. There is also nowhere to sit apart from a couple of wooden chairs. Everything about the cabin felt tired...

Thank you for staying with us. We are often told this is the "best place on our trip",or "wish we could stay longer".I was very surprised that you said we were the worst place you've stayed.I can assure you we did not receive our Certificate of Excellence this year by "not caring".I have never "insisted"somebody pay. Alot of my guests...
