Excellent service, good food, friendly staff. But...when it came to pay the bill the waitress instead of handing us the bill like all other restaurants, she felt the need to shout it out loud so all other customers could hear. Why weren't we handed a note properly written out and itemised? when we asked for a bill she produced 3...

We sought out this pub because it was on the doggie friendly website and as we were travelling through this area at lunchtime we decided to have lunch there. The pub had a lovely homely feel to it when we went in and the man behind the bar was very friendly. There was four of us humans and two little...

A warm welcome and friendly hosts, the food is excellent value and typical pub grub but great value for money, hot and plenty of it. Quick service and nothing too much trouble, would definitely go back if we were in the area again.

we have just returned home after a lovely meal. I phoned before to see if they still did my favourite dish and they had a new menu and no longer did what I love. A lovely gentleman said we have the ingredients so we will do that for you. It's not local to us so by the time we got...

We went here last Sunday lunchtime. The restaurant was nicely laid out and quite spacious A good varied menu and all meals were amazingly well priced. The menu left us with difficult choices to make and all chose something different! All meals arrived at the same time and all were of a high quality. Thanks to all at The Roebuck

Whilst staying nearby with a large group of family members we booked a table for 20. Excellent service from start to finish- it can't be easy having a large party invading but all orders arrived and food was of a high quality. The hosts were very attentive and able to accommodate our needs. 14 of us even came back for...

We stopped here May 2014, to give our dog a break from the car journey and seeing the very reasonably priced 'small' lunch menu (served all day) we ordered two courses each. A the mutt was peckish, his chicken breast came served in his own plastic bowl and with a smile! The portions were smallish, but exactly as described, food...
