We arrived at the cottages in the afternoon and settled in. The cottage was clean, bright, comfortable, and overlooking the water. The sound of the waves was wonderful. We spent time exploring the beach and gathering some lovely pieces ofsea glass. The entire experience is one that I would highly recommend to anyone. It's hard to put into words the...

Went planning on camping but decided to try for a cottage when the campsites were full. Lucky for us there was a cancellation and we were able to snag a super cute cottage with a million dollar view. The cottage has everything one would need and is very clean. The ladies at the office were lovely and helpful to explain...

We have been here several times over the last few years. We absolutely love it here. The little cabins are clean and tidy housekeeping cottages with a variety of bedroom styles. There are some with a queen and pullout sofa. The others are a double, bunk beds and a pullout sofa. The view is unparalleled. The beach access is a...

We stayed here for 2 nights while we explored the west side of the Cape Breton and the Cabot trail. The setting was idyllic - right on top of cliffs overlooking the beautiful beach. The cabin was clean and comfortable - it had everything we needed (fridge, cooktop etc) and the bathroom was more than adequate; the bed was very...

Inverness Beach Village was a nice stay. The cottages are right on the water and offer a great view. The cabins are a bit small, but they're perfect for a quick getaway. Our cabin had sleeping space for 4 adults and 2 children, with two bedrooms: one featured a small bunk bed, one featured a double bed and there was...

I am always amazed at the efficiency of this simple design for a cottage. We are often 3 staying in a cabin - with the one who wakes up first on the sofabed with access to the kitchen. The cabins are well maintained. The staff is super friendly with lots of ideas for activities if you are new to the...

You could plunk a lean-to down in the beach village setting the Mcleods have and sell it for top dollar, the setting and location of the beach village is that good. We stayed in the cabin closest to the beach for a week and had an unobstructed view of the ocean and spectacular sunsets from the weathered Adirondack chairs on...

Recently, we visited Inverness Beach Village for the first time. Our cabin was great – we lucked out and got a last minute cancelliation that had probably booked very well in advance – possibly the best cabin on the property, right next to the ocean. There was a little kitchen, essentially three bedrooms (pull out in the living room, double...

If you like cabin with damp smell, to have view on a lot's of cabin instead of the sea, well this place is for you! No service, no products in the bathroom. The good point: you can hear the sea when you sleep, and the beach is nice. The water is warm enough to go in. I can't recommend this...

We had stayed here as a family. The scenery was absolutely beautiful. I found the cabin to be a little bit dated. I found the smell in toward the sleeping area reminded me of a 1970's trailer smell. The cabin was extremely clean. I found it a tad bit small for what I am use to, and a little on...
