I have been hanging around Cape Breton on and off for ten years and never heard of the Tulloch and it would have stayed that way but for the fact of a scheduled trip before the "season" when most everything is still closed for business. But not the Tulloch which runs all year. This is a lovely and relatively new... More

I stayed here during the 2015 Celtic Colours Festival & was impressed with every detail of Tulloch Inn. It was such a restful location with beautiful landscaping. Of course the Autumn colours added to the experience. Comfortable mattresses, immaculately clean, & a tasty breakfast. Keith & Betty were gracious & accommodating, serving a delicious scallop supper in time so we... More

Located off of West Lake Ainslie Road, there is a very small sign at the end of a very long, eerie and winding road onto a beautiful property facing the Lake. Keep your eyes peeled - the sign is easy to miss - especially if night driving! After driving onto the property, my husband tapped on a sliding door to... More

We we visiting Cape Breton for the Celtic Colours and had concerts in Whycocomagh, Judique, and Mabou. We decided on the Tulloch Inn as a somewhat central place where we could stay multiple days and not have to move around every night. It was an hour to Judique but only 1/2 hour to the other places and even closer to... More

We stayed at Tulloch Inn during Celtic colors festival in Cape Breton. Our room "Ross" was big with the balcony and beautiful view. This place is extremely quiet. Room is exactly as described on pictures. Sparkling clean, this is what I value the most. Firm king size mattress as i like. It was most comfortable place we stayed in Cape... More

An excellent property with magnificent views over Lake Ainslie, it's tucked away down a long rather rough drive through the woods which gives it great atmosphere. On ringing the bell we were met by the owner we introduced ourselves as having booked on-line the previous day but he didn't know anything about us and rather reluctantly we were let in.... More

Only six rooms but all of them perfect. Very comfortable and fully equipped. The Inn is beautifully located about 20 minutes outside Inverness - quiet and peaceful The food prepared by the owner is amazing - book dinner in advance - it is well worth it

We stayed 2 nights (Sept. 11 and 12). Inn is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. We really liked Keith and Elizabeth. They even loaned us some rain gear! We will go again. Thanks for a very pleasant stay. We wish you continued success.

Near by (but without direct access to) lake Ainslie, we found this property to be very well kept, extremely clean and decorated with a lot of attention to detail. The Mac Phee room is quite large, with a comfy king size bed. Elizabeth is a great cook, providing us with a light dinner ( we had booked in advance) and... More

My parents and I had the pleasure of staying at the Tulloch Inn this past weekend, as we travelled across beautiful Cape Breton Island. When we arrived (late, I should add) the owner was there to greet us and was very friendly and easy going! The Inn sits on a beautiful property, overlooking a lake and a perfectly landscaped lawn....
