We have stayed at The Co-op about ten times over the past five years. Everything about the establishment is 5 star plus, Valda and Chris the owners are wonderful. There is no need to rate the different aspects of the Old Co-op, everything is Perfect and I mean everything. Thank you as always for another wonderful visit.

Lovely guest house. Hosts friendly and can't do enough for you. Breakfast was exceptional and the majority of it was local produce. Recommended to all. If you're walking or rambling in the area, the room with the private bathroom next door may interest you... it has a lovely roll top bath (no shower though), the en-suite has a large shower...

Beautiful place, lovely breakfast, quaint setting and a very friendly welcome from the owners. The service and accommodation is good as any 5* country hotel but on a lot smaller scale. Would highly recommend it's a real gem.

We made a special diversion to the Old Co-op as it had been recommended to us and we weren't disappointed - my partner is a big meat eater and he had to admit the vegetarian food here was delicious. He had home made chunky veg soup and I had a wrap containing all sorts of grains and spices. Lovely staff...

This B&B is ideal place to stop to explore easy Yorkshire. It's well worth the money and is probably one of the best B&B I have ever stopped in and...

Excellent one night stay at The Old Co-Op. The owners are very friendly and make you feel welcome. The house décor is beautiful and very clean, and there is a lot of attention to detail. Our room with en suite was very nice, comfortable bed and lovely white bedding. The Yorkshire tea and homemade flap jack was a treat on...

Lovely 1 night stay at the old co-op. The owners are welcoming and friendly and put a lot of effort into making sure ever penny is worth spending. We were only there 1 night for a wedding nearby so didn't manage to make much use of the location. Both bedrooms were stunning. The en suite has a shower and the...

Stayed at this B&B for a couple of nights. Perfect and will never stay in anything other than five star B&B from now on. Lovely personal touches, gorgeous home made treats. My room was tranquil and better than many hotels I have stayed in. Very comfy bed. Breakfast was superb. Validate and Chris could not have been more welcoming. Definite...

The imposing building, typical of the area, sits in a neat and well tended garden and is just as well cared for on the inside. A warm and friendly greeting awaited me from the owners as I arrived in the early evening at The Old Co-op B & B. The decor, tasteful and elegant, both in the dinning area and...
