I have stayed at the Claramount Inn several times in the last 5 years, most recently for a "girls' 50th birthday weekend", and have always been impressed. Beautiful accommodations, gourmet food and a spa ... all in an exquisite historic setting and with all that Prince Edward County has to offer. Great value at any time of year

Had a very enjoyable and relaxing 2 night midweek getaway at the Inn. Nathan Coventry recently took over as the Chef and the food was amazing! He put together an off menu 3 course dinner for my second night which was fabulous very creative and very delicious, he has a unique style which comes through in the flavors of his...

I have stayed here before with my coworkers for Christmas from our boss. We have had amazing stays in the past.... This time there was no warm welcome in the door. There is 6 of us and we are renting 3 rooms (this is half the place). The receptionist tell us she doesn't have our reservation for the nights stay....

Beautiful Inn overlooking the harbour. Clara's restaurant is a must. Probably the best steak I have ever had. The breakfast in the morning is included and quite good. The room was very large with a nice view of the water. Nicely decorated with antiques in room and throughout the Inn. The gardens are beautiful and the adirondacks overlooking the water...

This beautiful property has tons of potential but unfortunately has been neglected. The antique furniture in the bedroom feels like dumpster finds. Badly stained carpet, sofa, and a bathroom that is badly need of repair. The restaurant is not much better in terms of quality atmosphere and service. Waited three hours for our supper and my fillet mignon was turned...

This should be a wonderful place, however some considerable maintenance is being deferred & perhaps at the expense of what used to be a good reputation. i.e. paint peeling & bubbling inside & out, with clearly visible rot on some of the exterior wood. Carpets tattered, stained & buckling. The mattress was well past it's expiry date and left me...

We have been staying at the Claramount for the past three years and have had a real great experience. The room we had for the first two years was spacious and colourful with a great view. This past year we had a different room which was oustanding and most enjoyable. There was a change in management which had a positive...

This is a very impressive looking Victorian property with extensive grounds going down to the river. We took a ground floor suite which consisted of a large bathroom, bedroom and sitting room. First of all we placed a towel on the rack which promptly fell off the wall. We did report this, and it was fixed quite quickly. There was a...

Nobody can fill the shoes of Candace, the former manager, who has just recently left Claramount Inn!! Thanks to her, Claramount Inn was like a home to many of us. Without Candace it will be impossible to replicate the warm hospitality that she exuded. This is a very sad change that has taken place at this previously wonderful inn.

We stayed there after our wedding and had a great time. The rooms were excellent and the place has fantastic views of the water and great food. We were most impressed with the staff who were friendly and helpful, and went out of their way to return a forgotten item. Definitely recommended and would stay again.
