Wa spent one night at the Waring House in a cozy room with two beds. The decor was pleasant, a country style that was cheerful. Upon walking through the door we were aware of a foisty aroma and immediately opened the patio doors to a charming deck which had two adirondack chairs and an intimate hot tub. Once we turned...

The rooms were very nice, we kept the fireplace lit all night. Our rate included breakfast which was nice. I had the french toast and it was fabulous. The toiletries were of high quality and we had plenty of towels.

It's a very nice place to eat. Old house with Victorian interiors on a big private property, clean, friendly staff, good food selection, beautiful garden and surrounding. Food is fresh, they keep it warm all the time. Sunday brunch runs from 11 - 2 pm. Reservation is required. They have Spa services available for visitors or people who stay overnight.

We're very glad to hear how much you enjoyed your meal with us. We no longer offer spa service on the property, but we our sister property Claramount Inn (about 10 minutes away) has a full service spa where guests can book treatments.

The Waring House is really two different properties for those who want to stay. There is the antique "HOuse next door:, which is a converted old stone building, and the new extension, in modern row house style. In the former, you have to be able to sacrifice space for (genuine) antique furnmiture and the ground floor enjoyment of the hotel...

We're very glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. Our owner has gone to great lengths to personally select the antiques and I'm sure she'll be pleased to hear that you noticed and appreciated them. We hope to see you again. Maybe an opportunity to discover another room.

Very disappointed in lunch here. Arrived at 1.25 pm after the usual rush and still had to wait 40 mins after ordering food. I ordered the black bean burger, which contained, carrots, peas and corn, not a black bean to be seen. It was also smothered in cheese which I don't eat. The menu did mention , 'jalapeño jack' which...

I'm very sorry to hear that you had to wait so long for service. You should have received service faster than that, and we apologize. I've spoken to the kitchen about the contents of the burger. There appears to have been a communication breakdown. The kitchen had temporarily run out of the black bean burgers and had substituted other veggie...

Room was fine. We went for "Countylicious" event. Thought we would be staying in main building which is quaint and lovely. We were put in one of the other buildings. If you do go, request a room in the main building, there are only 5 or 6 but all charming.

We like quaint atmosphere of rooms in the main house too, but sometimes our guests prefer the larger rooms found in the lodges and the house next door. We have photos on our website of all of the rooms so our guests know the kind of room they're booking. We hope to see you again and hope that you get...

We visited the Waring House for a 2 night stay at the end of April. Tracey and the front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room, 103, was amazing: a sitting room and separate bedroom with a wonderfully comfortable King-sized bed. We enjoyed biking in the area. Our meal at Amelia's Garden was excellent. There was music in...

Purchased through Groupon as a weekend getaway. Also upgraded to a 'hot tub' room for a nominal fee. Fantastic service and every staff member encountered was courteous and personable. The website does not do the property justice, it is a beautiful location with many amenities. Of course, if you are looking for a 'modern' hotel, this is not the place....
