The Francis Boutique Inn is a luxurious adult only, five star, multi award winning small hotel. The centrally located property is perched on a hilltop and adorned with beautiful harbour views. The six elegant and thoughtfully designed ‘hotel-style’ rooms are spacious, modern and clean. All suites also have access to the wonderful outdoor sauna & hot tub to soak in after a day of walking the trails and beaches. The Francis is also just a short drive away from Tofino, surrounded by Canada’s treasured Pacific Rim National Park Reserve, and just minutes to Vancouver Island’s highest rated Wild Pacific Trail. Come stay and be right at home. TIP: Bring your swim gear: The outdoor sauna and hot tub truly are wonderful; & because we are adult only & have only six suites by design, it is impeccably clean; it has tons of jets, & tucked away under the trees in the back of the property under a gazebo + has a star light displaying on the ceiling. Very relaxing & beautiful at the end of your day!

Clean and well appointed. Little kitchenette was just enough. Hot tub was a perfect end to busy days. Artwork and other welcoming touches like robes and sandals were perfect. Best part was the central location - perfect to explore Ucluelet. Would highly recommend.

Visited Ukee and stayed at the Francis this June for 2 nights . Our hosts Brent and Sandra were awesome from booking to departure! As we were the first guests to stay since the region shut down Brent was on hand to walk us through our first post-covid stay experience and they have done a great job to provide the safest, clinical, yet warm experience that the Francis inn provides.Room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable (even providing pillow mist spray). Physical distancing was on point and the room and hot tub area were, as expected pristine and sanitised with no exceptions! Overall we had a great time visiting this beautiful part of the world and the inn was only a short walk away from restaurants and bars and the beach, with a short drive to coastal hikes in the area . We will return again and recommend to anyone!

Huge thanks for the thoughtful glowing review! We were so happy we were able to help make it the perfect Anniversary (during these unique times!) You truly got to unplug and reconnect on the West Coast. So glad you enjoyed every minute and felt right at home in our Boutique Inn. We designed everything to be modern, clean and elegant... to be a true place where you can feel at ease. Ucluelet, Tofino & the Pacific Rim National Park... plus the Wild Pacific Trail (just a couple minutes from us) are always lovely; it’s hard not to get some great pics and beautiful memories. Was a real pleasure getting to chat and meet you both... and honestly a delight (you guys need to text us that place again to travel to after Covid, sounded so amazing). To anyone reading this review... what is hard to see online is that we put a lot of love and care into our inn and keep it immaculately clean... plus all the entrances are individual and safely accessed from clean outdoors... everyone can feel comfortable). Thanks again guys, and thank you for being our such awesome first guests after opening back up. See you next Anniversary! Warmest Regards Sandra & Brent.

My husband and I just spent a few days in Ucleulet, and a big part of our visit's success was staying at this delightful inn. Brent and Sandra were gracious and generous hosts. They've created a perfectly safe environment for a covid-era stay: the whole property is spotless and lovingly detailed. The room was bright, spacious and beautifully furnished, including a very comfortable bed, new towels and crisp linens, well-stocked kitchenette with a serious coffee maker and a luxurious outdoor jacuzzi spa. We enjoyed total privacy, although all four suites were occupied. We will definitely be back!

We’re beyond humbled! Honestly it was our pleasure to get to HOST you. We have a huge passion for what we are able to do. Our Inn is all about elegant, modern, comfort... with a stunning central location and Harbour view! We keep everything immaculate. Life is too short to do things half way. We have tried to take care of all the little details so you can unplug and reconnect. So lovely the eBike tour was hit (Mario is great over at Ukee Tours...if anyone is reading this, he has totally great high-end eBikes and the tours are super Covid safe). Glad you guys enjoyed every minute on the West Coast! Thanks again and all the best. Warmest Regards Sandra & Brent.

We stayed at the Francis Boutique Inn from 09.07. to 12.07.2021 and enjoyed completely our stay. The Francis Boutique team -Jakub, Marian and Charlie, the manager-, is fantastic, very helpful, welcoming and accommodating. On our third try to arrive at the hotel we were successful. Previously because of Covid, we needed to cancel twice and they were every time ready to help out for the next booking. In advance, they offered us their "Must do list" so that we could plan our activities. We had a top-floor suite with a nice view of the harbour. The room was immaculately clean, airy and with good light. The kitchenette was well equipped with a kettle & coffeemaker. The bed was comfortable and with nice linen. The room was quiet and we did not hear any noise from the other rooms. The Francis has a perfect location, close to restaurants and to the harbour. We would choose The Francis again if we want to be back in Ucluelet. We would love to recommend The Francis without hesitation to everyone who wants to have a great time in Ucluelet. Our experience was great!

The hotel is in a great location. It is very clean. The pillows were a bit hard for me personally. There is no stove and not much counter space if you are bringing your own food and the fridge does not have a freezer space. The service is exceptional. A very nice welcoming note and a bottle of wine. Very quick responses for giving updates and information to us. The hot tub was a plus after a long day of hiking. If i stayed again I would ask for an upper room or bring earplugs, as you can hear the people upstairs when they are walking around. 4 am and then 6 am alarm going off. All in all it was a great stay.. We would definitely recommend and return.

Thanks for choosing us to be your host Catherine , it was pleasure hosting you :-) Hope you enjoyed west coast advenutre with snowy suprise ... What we do is our passion and we try to have every guest to feel like at home . I am suprised with the noise complaint , we did spend over $10K on sound insulation last year and we had zero complaints since .... I will put a note on your file and if you come back we will make sure you get a spot on upper floor :-) Thanks again for staying with us . Warm Regards, Jakub & Marian

Found this luxury B&B last minute, and they offered a 10% booking discount. Stayed in one of the Main Floor suites. Included: King Bed, microwave and CoffeePod machine, electric fireplace, large TV, rainfall shower head. Shared hot tub was regularly cleaned, and readily available.

Restaurants, bars, cafes, grocery store, were all within 5m walks. A majority of them also deliver, which made accessing them easier.
Off the main road, but noise wasn't an issue, and made it easy for driving to various hikes and destinations.
They do offer parking right in front of the location, but warning - the driveway is very steep, and depending on your vehicle might bump the front bumper when exiting the lot.

Overall, great accommodations for a quiet getaway.

We stayed here for two nights in early April and the weather was intolerable. Our consolation prize was staying in such a beautiful place that was quiet, peaceful and comfortable for a day of binge watching Netflix:). We had everything that we needed, although a toaster would have been good but not a deal breaker.

We really appreciated all the additional touches like the lotions, fluffy towels, coffee pods, tea etc. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We used The Francis for our first annual company fishing trip and could not have asked for a better spot to entertain our guests. The rooms are beautifully appointed and the backyard area with Adirondack chairs, hammocks and hot tub was very peaceful and relaxing. Staff stayed in touch with us in the months leading up to our trip to help with further planning along the way, including hooking us up with a local restaurant for lunches while we were on our chartered fishing boat and dinner recommendations. We'll happily tell everyone about our fantastic experience.

The Francis is an intimate four suite gem in the West coast of Vancouver island. The location is central to nearly everything in Ucluelet, from excellent dining to the stunning Wild Pacific Trail.

The suites are tastefully decorated and nicely equipped for a stay. The slides for walking to the hot tub (also fantastic), thoughtful touches from hosts Brent and Sandra make very an exceptional stay.

Ucluelet is one of the nicest places to be on the island's West coast, a vibrant town that reflects the best of island life. Sandra and Brent lead you to the best of what is on offer, and are unfailingly gracious hosts.

I look forward to another stay.

SO THOUGHTFUL! Thank you so much for the glowing review! Loved hosting you. Of course we're biased... but YES Ukee (aka Ucluelet) is a perfect home base while exploring Ucluelet, Tofino and the Pacific Rim National Park. You guys did it right... and gave yourself some beautiful time to explore Ukee, Tofino and the National Park. Our location is the hardest thing to show online... but The Francis Boutique Inn is just 2 mins to Big Beach, 5 mins to the Wild Pacific Trail (#1 Trail on Vancouver Island) and 15 mins to the first Beach in the National Park. The restaurants for village square (PLUVIO, Heartwood, Frankies, Zoe's Bakery etc) are just a minute outside your door (you do not even have to start your car). The Inn location is nicely perched up on a hill, so nice and quiet with a beautiful view of the Harbour (yet you get the best central location to everything ~ yet feel away from it all). We love taking care of all the details! Looking forward to hosting you guys next time you come up. Thanks so much and all the best… Warmest Regards Brent & Sandra.

Perfectly located in central Ucluelet — everything is just minutes away. We stayed in Suite #3 on the main floor, and it is beautifully decorated in a clean, modern style. We had all the supplies we needed to enjoy breakfast in the room. Cozy fireplace and fantastic large screen TV with Netflix.
