The Reef Point has got to be the most beautiful place we have ever stayed! Sitting on your private deck you have a panoramic view of an amazing inlet of the ocean. There is a multilevel deck that affords you even more awesome views complete with a hot tub sitting under a beautiful tree. It is quiet and peaceful although sometimes you can hear people having fun at the nearby beach (not a distraction at all). On our last evening there we even came home early just to soak in some of the amazing scenery. This is one of the few times that pictures on the website do not do it justice!
The room was very pleasant with a comfortable bed. You can even lay in bed and view the scenery through the glass doors. There is a huge bathtub with a window looking out on a beautiful view. Romantic candles provided. There is a microwave and small refrigerator. Breakfast was homemade granola (delicious), assorted muffins, banana bread, fresh baked bread, juice, and coffee. Also homemade cookies. There is a small table where you can enjoy your food in front of a window with again, a beautiful view. A small gas fireplace added to the ambience. Robes and slippers added to the elegant feel. We had our own private entrance which made coming and going easy.
The hosts were gracious and welcoming. They provided a lot of tourist information. They made us feel very comfortable staying at their B&B.
I always check out reviews for negative comments since those can sometimes make or break a pleasant stay. I have to honestly say, I have absolutely nothing negative to say! Book the Reef Point. You won't regret it!

The hosts were warm and welcoming and supplied us with great breakfast food in our kitchenette. Our suite was meticulously clean, extremely well maintained and tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable. The linens, towels and toiletries were of very high quality. The views were beautiful from each of the decks and we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after spending days in the quaint town and on the pristine beaches. The location is perfect, close enough to town and beaches but peaceful, secluded and quiet both day and night. We would definitely love to return!

We stayed for 4 nights in Reef point oceanfront B&B. The location is fantastic, so close to so many beautiful trails and few minutes from the Ucluelet center. The B&B is so comfortable with attention to very small details that make you feel at home. The views of the ocean are so beautiful and you can admire the nature from every corner of the room. You have a deck to sit and enjoy outside with additional lower decks , too with private hot tub on one of them. You are in a forest with ocean in front of you! Our fridge was full of delicious food for our breakfast , with great home made muffins and granola and more. Dian was a great hostess, helped with maps and advices where to go , was so attentive to all our requests .
We enjoyed every minute in this wonderful B&B.

We had an amazing time at the Reef Point Oceanfront B&B. The views were incredible from our room. We woke up to the sound of the ocean everyday. Dian made our stay so enjoyable by accommodating our dietary needs as well as a late check-in. They took great care to ensure cleanliness and provided everything we needed for our stay (restaurant recommendations, breakfast, beach mats/towels, robes, etc.). After our many hikes and surf sessions we would come back to a hot tub to ease our muscles. I would totally recommend this place to anyone and hope to come back in the near future.

Reef Point Oceanfront B&B in Ucluelet offered an exceptional experience that went beyond the stunning views and serene ambiance. The level of comfort provided was truly outstanding. The bed in the Whale Song room, where we stayed, was like sleeping on a cloud. The plush mattress and soft linens ensured a restful night's sleep, allowing us to wake up refreshed and ready to embrace each day. The Whale Song room itself was beautifully decorated, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. It was the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the area.

From the moment we entered the B&B, the attention to detail was evident in every aspect. The combination of breathtaking views, serene ambiance, and the cozy comfort of the Whale Song room made our stay at Reef Point Oceanfront B&B truly unforgettable.

Dian's restaurant recommendations were an added bonus to our stay. Her expertise and passion for the local culinary scene led us to some of the best dining experiences we've had. We savored every bite and were delighted by the flavors and creativity showcased in each dish.

With such an extraordinary experience, we are already planning our return to Reef Point Oceanfront B&B. The combination of the breathtaking views, the serene ambiance, the cozy comfort of the Whale Song room, and Dian and Brian's exceptional hospitality make this B&B an absolute gem in Ucluelet. If you're looking for a memorable and rejuvenating getaway, look no further. Reef Point Oceanfront B&B is a destination that will exceed your expectations in every way.

To celebrate our special anniversary, we chose to rent a convertible and stay at Reef Point. The car was fun and this spacious B&B was more than we hoped for. We had privacy, spectacular views of the ocean and night sky, sleep-in quality bed and linens, several selections for breakfasts in our suite, locally made organic toiletries and a heated bathroom floor for cool days. The hot tub was a plus, especially when taking along the complimentary prosecco wine and chocolates, gifts for our anniversary! Dian and Brian were very accommodating hosts who made us feel so special. Sincere thanks.

I had a wonderful three-night stay in the Whale Song suite. Upon arrival, Dian went over all of the amenities, as well as what local restaurants are open and when (there is a labor shortage in the service industry, like many places in the world now, so the situation is fluid). The suite is cozy and included some tasty breakfast items (brown bread, yogurt, fruit, etc.), a comfortable bed, a bathroom with a hot tub and heated floor, as well a strong WiFi connection. The view of the water and trees from the porches cannot be beat, and the property is secluded and quiet. The property is also close enough to walk to one of the beaches (Little Beach) and a short drive to other beaches and local shops/restaurants. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

After spending 3 nights at Reef Point Ocean Front B&B, it was very hard to leave! The grounds are stunning, with views of the ocean from the room, hot tub, and multiple decks. The Whale Song suite was well appointed with a cozy bed, electric fireplace, mini kitchen and dishes/utensils, and a very large bathroom with a spacious tub. With sliding patio doors out to the terrace and a view of the ocean, it was difficult to make yourself ever get out of bed. The best part of the accommodations for us was the hot tub, with a view to die for. If you stay here choose one of the two rooms with access to the hot tub, you will not regret it! In a time where everywhere else we went around the island was so busy it was great to have the quite little retreat to relax. I couldn't see myself staying anywhere else should I return to Ucluelet!

Thank you Dian and Brian for being wonderful hosts. We enjoyed having the separate entrance to our suite, magnificent view of the bay from our deck, and other decks with seating areas and the hot tub for our use. When we booked the suite it wasn’t clear if there was a shower as well as the jacuzzi tub, we were happy to find a shower in the good sized, well appointed ensuite. The kitchen area also had a coffee maker, microwave, toaster, kettle, & ample plates, bowls, cutlery etc.
We enjoyed the continental breakfast, plenty to eat including Dian’s delicious homemade muffins. Dian was quick to respond when we asked for additional items.

A huge thank you to Dian & Brian for keeping our booking from way back.
We had a wonderful stay at your beautiful suites. I cannot express enough what a perfect arrangement the suites are and you have thought of everything ! Including beach towels & mats & a beach bag. Everything a lady may need in the bathroom.
Delicious local produce for our breakfasts together with fresh orange juice and milk.
On a chilly day there’s a fireplace to warm the suite too. In the event of a power cut head torches, torches candles etc are all provided !
The hot tub was sheer luxury and we enjoyed using it and the wonderful views. We stayed in the whale suite and were so comfortable

The local area information provided was extremely helpful and even on a rainy day we got out to do be of the park trails .
I hope you continue to be supported and stay busy and thank you for being part of our wonderful trip.

We thoroughly recommend staying at this stunning accommodation within an ideal setting

Sounds absolutely perfect. Only question, where is the hot tub relative to the two suites?
Ucluelet43 contributions16 helpful votes
Hello there, thank you for your interest in our oceanfront B & B. There are two suites with private decks overlooking the ocean, a few steps down is a clifftop deck, and off to the side of this deck the hot tub sits under an old cedar tree so is very private with great views over the ocean. Each suite has a large private en-suite with a double size soaker tubs. If you have any further questions we would be happy to help.
