We have been trying to get to the west coast for some time and I found this property on line. The rate was quite a bit lower than most hotels in the area but I wanted to go so we took a chance and booked it. Don't let the exterior turn you off as the room was very clean and very large. We had a very comfortable night and the room was equipped with fridge, coffee maker and lots of towels. The location is great we walked to the Wild Pacific Trail and be right in the town you have access to all the shops and restaurants. We would stay there again as it is a great option when the sky high prices of the resort hotels tend to keep us away.

Vancouver Island summer rates are just silly, but there you are. We paid twice the normal price for this type of roadside accommodation. We booked just a few days ahead, from the road, so maybe there are better options for the better organised traveller. Anyway, it was alright. The room was a bit worn, but clean and comfortable. There was a big table and chairs, a fridge and a microwave. It is a family-run business, which I am always happy to support, and the family is very friendly and helpful. The location is good for the hiking trails and the small town centre. No breakfast. COVID protocols are being properly applied as far as we could see.

The cheapest one you can find in the area, just half hour drive to Tofino. The office doesn’t leave a great first impression. Very convenient location for accessing Pacific Rim Park Reserve. Price is OK considering the higher prices from Ucluelet to Tofino. The room was big with a dining table with chairs also. The mini fridge and microwave were added bonuses, but not enough coffee bags and when I request more because it was a rainy day stuck in the room and we had 3 guests in the room, the manager was not happy give extra.

The location was excellent, however we certainly got a run around on what a price for a night was.. Talked to multiple people who also concluded to not know much...
While the water was hot it was also extremely dirty with spurts of complete dirt coming out. The water isn't consumable which we found out AFTER mentioning the dirtiness of it
Having a brew pub and restaurant's close are a bonus but next time will definitely splurge for something better

Dirty, dark red splatters on the ceiling and bathroom, filthy surfaces and we had to spend a lot of sanitizing everything. Broken window could not be shut and let the rain and wind in all night, Don’t stay in room 10 as the traffic noise will keep you awake. They should charge half and run it as a cheap hostel for younger people. Staying in a campground would be cleaner!!!!!

Great place to stay affordable, clean, quiet and friendly helpful staff . Recently renovated and done with style, and thought for a aged motel. FYI a lot of restaurants closed on Mondays, but just down the road is Howlers pub. Good food
Also nice that they text you and welcome you when on route and answer any questions you may have.
I was pleased with our stay.

I am a picky traveller & was nervous booking a “motel” for the night in Ucluet. But we were put in a newly renovated room that was very spacious & beautiful. It’s in the middle of town so no real water views from the room, but an excellent option for one or a few nights

We got a newly renovated room that was the nicest we had for our whole trip in British Columbia. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend. The TV was the large size and we had a table and chairs at which to eat our breakfast. Quiet too!

The property is old but the room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable, the towels and sheets clean. The small fridge had a freezer compartment which is a plus. The bathroom has a good ventilation system. I asked for a luggage rack twice but never got it.

Good location - close to the Canada Princess marina, restaurants, cafe, and a grocery store.
