After shopping around and seeing the ridiculous prices for accommodations in July in the strip of land between Tofino and Ucluelet, we were very lucky to stumble upon this little gem. The cabins are simple, but they have what you need, and the kitchen was a big plus. Great for cooking up some fresh seafood if you can get it. Very clean, though I found the mattress soft for my liking.

There is a very quiet beach right across the street (though you can't access it directly from the hotel) that was empty every time we went.

The location was very close to one of the parking points for the Wild Pacific trail and the grocery store and restaurants aren't far either.

My only complaint is that the playpen we reserved for our 1 year old was ancient and rickety - We wondered whether it was safe, but it held up for the three nights.

Clean, convenient and reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very basic but all that we needed. We were across the road from a little beach and were located very close to the lighthouse, and the Wild Pacific Trail. Walking distance to town. I would not hesitate to go again :)

Nice little cottages that have everything you need. Beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. Ours had a useful microwave and fridge. All have nice outside decks to relax on. Across the road is a beautiful view of the ocean. Also it is in a nice quiet location. Hiking trails are located nearby. Reasonable prices. Tip - if you are coming in from nanaimo pick up groceries ahead of time because, while there is a grocery store, prices are fairly expensive.

We were waiting 5 hours for the ferry we called them at noon time to inform them that we will be arriving late and they said we can’t have the room (although we paid in advance and they had our visa number) We explained that since we are a family of 5 its very hard to find an accommodation and we might spend the night in the car, but they simply didn’t care.
Luckily Expedia found Water Edge resort for us, which is a little more expensive but more convenient rooms) where they let us check in at midnight (their office was close as well)
We ask to speak with the owner and we are still waiting for him to call us bace

Cabins are clean, good settings, love the hard-floor.
But there is a one big problem, which every traveler should consider: it is check in time.
If you are later than 8 pm ( which can easy happens when you are taking ferry), there is no way to get your booked and already paid room, even if you called, explained and asked to somehow to resolve the problem ( we had the same situations twice in our more than 14 years of traveling across USA and Canada - and always there was a way to pick-up the key from some designated place) and you simply have possibilities to sleep in your car. I was talked with owner couple times - you receive automatic response - " blah, blah - our policies ". Farther funnier. When we got next day ( we had reservation for 2 nights) we figure out that our room was sold for the night we didn't make it and now we can't get into because they have to clean it. Logically if you sold my number I have to get my money for one night back, right? Right, but we end up paying all taxes for that night as well, plus CANCELLATION fee. Honestly I don't remember anything about me cancelling that night, I was late by one hour after 9 pm end end up in the weirdest situation.

They provide horrible serivce in there dirty old grimy rooms that smell of mold and mildew! Sheets were stained and cover in hair as well as the towels! VERY tiny rooms and defiently not easy on the eyes! There are MUCH better places to stay at in the area, dont waste your money staying at this dump!

Nice place great view and friendly staff. However this resort Is NOT FISHERMAN FRIENDLY. NO GEAR, NO COOLERS OR FREEZERS. Thought this was a fishing town. If u are here to fish do not stay here. Otherwise probably a 4. Since I'm here to fish, not impressed. And our hot water tank is leaking when being used.

Nice cabin with kitchen facilities, but staff very uncooperative. Room was booked for 5 nights and paid for; however, was told would have to move every day as the resort was over booked! Not sure why that should be the guests' problem. The min. required is 2 night stay. Why does a paying, on-site guest have to move belongings EVERY DAY to accommodate the Resorts' "over booking"?? They were unwilling to consider or even discuss this an inconvenience. Had no trouble taking the reservation and payment!! Very arrogant.

Spent a few quiet days. Room was clean and efficient. Right across road from Little Beach. Not far from anything you like to do there, walking distance to Wild Pacific Trail. Good value, and we would stay again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was super clean, bright, and location was perfect. We did have the king/spa room which was ideal for us. Clean towels, etc. each day we stayed. Small room but suitable for two guests.
