Much less than average place to stay. Small room, small bathroom. Very dated. Weird arrangement of furnishings - microwave on top of fridge in front of mirror (!!) , small television placed off to one side. No decor at all - absolutely nothing attractive. Can hear people running water and showers - very poorly insulated building. Don't know what else...

In late September 2016, we spent two nights in the Breakaway Motel. It is dated and the walls need to be insulated, but the TV and the WiFi both worked, there was a restaurant 100 feet away, and there was loads of parking space, that was free. We were able to walk to shopping centres, bookshops and places to eat...

Very expensive for pets, $ 10 per dog per night for small dogs, $ 20 per dog per night for med and larger dogs. $200.00 damage deposit required. Never had to pay that before even in really nice hotels. Room was small, old and had very small (maybe double ) beds. Very expensive for room we got on second floor,...

Needed some help during the snow in Feb '17...Angela at the front desk was very pleasant, told me to come in and get warm & have a cup of coffee. Cleaning gals were friendly and fun. Will return again soon.

We got a key, no fobs here. Got to our room only to find the toilet had not been flushed after someone took care of big business. We were disgusted but had already booked and had no recourse, We then went to the next room with 2 twin beds, I am sure the linens weren't changed because there were head...

After reading the reviews we didn't know what to think, but once there everything was just perfect, they explained us that the place has a new owner and that they did a lot of changes and renovation. We stayed here for 3 nights and all was perfect, except that we had to leave. We felt as at home, all the...

Rooms are reasonably clean, beds are comfortable, however the rooms we have stayed in have one or two double beds, even in a room where we were told it was a queen. A good family restaurant is right beside the hotel and a major shopping area (Walmart, Superstore, London Drugs, Home Depot and much more) is just 7 or 8...

Old creepy motel. Cheapest in the area for a good reason. You can hear everyone coming and going at all hours. Didn't feel safe especially when there is a big sign on the door advising to make sure to use the deadbolt. Looks like people live there, just hanging around killing time.

The staff are friendly and nice people. Not sure if I would stay there again The room was tired, needs paint, curtains, etc. There is no fridge although the room had a table and chairs. Guests get a $5 coupon for breakfast at Ricky's, that's not a bad deal.

The last two times we were in the Vancouver area and found the accommodations we had booked up to our standards we were lucky enough to take refuge in this gem of a motel. They don't have a lot of amenities we enjoyed our stay there both times. They are located outside of Vancouver, not far from the border. They...
