We stayed two nights at Vat-Vaka Bungalows as it was advertise in the Lonely Planet, presented as a nice place on the beach. We met Yoan in Port Vila, he was very nice but a bit inisistent on money. He wanted the money directly to plan and organize our travel to Vat-Vaka. We gave him some of our money and...

We stayed for 8 nights with another couple in the double bungalows. Having paid upfront via Western Union (which was easiest for us) did make it a little more nerve wracking but true to his word Yoan was waiting at the airport for us. Landed on 'our' beach and spent a little time in the 'dining room' with Yoan while...

Unfortunately we did not do our research and we ended up in this place due to a spur of the moment decision to check out Nguna Island. We wanted to check out a few different places to stay at, and advised Yoann of this (he was on the transport bus), but he did not tell us that the boat would...

My husband and I stayed at Vat Vaka as part of a long honeymoon. We arranged it a few weeks before and were PROMISED a double room twice. The journey there was the start of a very disappointing trip. The buses were very confusing and we only just made it as after waiting for several hours we were originally told...

He refuses FOR TWO DAYS to...

My boyfriend and I spent two nights here in September 2011, we had a bungalow with a large double bed, which costs 3500VT per person per night (including 3 meals a day). I had read a lot of reviews that beds were uncomfortable on most outer islands but we didn't have a problem with them at all and slept really...

I stayed at Vat Vaka Bungalows in January this year. I loved the beach and the snorkelling was just spectacular. The owners do need to take care of their guests just a little better though. I had booked a particular bungalow over the phone about a month in advance ( their only twin bungalow). On our arrival my 15yo son...
