This owner-operated bed & breakfast provides a quiet, friendly historic home environment for up to 6 guests (Colonial Room can accommodate an extra single bed as well as the standard Queen-sized bed) (Two single beds in a sunroom adjoining the Mudlo Room are available for either children or groups. Set on 3 private acres well away from traffic, the 1911 timber colonial house is surrounded by long-established trees which attract native birds. The wide verandahs on 3 sides of the large home allow for total relaxation (reading, bird watching, etc) or guests are welcome to interact with the two resident horses and the Dalmatian dog. A hearty country cooked breakfast is included in the tariff, but those wanting a lighter start to the day are catered for also. The owner is a long-term Kilkivan resident so can provide advice re local activities & attractions.
