Detailed Reviews
Check in staff friendly and efficient. As we were staying over a month, we upgraded our room to a Skyview room and it was delightful. Big , bright and lots of windows for the great views. Separate living room with big flat screen tv, residential fridge, walk in closet 2 bathrooms and large bedroom with another large TV. Views of Monkey mountain and Gulf are fabulous. Room done in white tones and was very clean and relaxing. Very comfortable bed linens and pillows.
Breakfast was excellent, a good variety of Asian and Western, with requests for omelettes etc. Head chef always available for requests. Breakfast room staff are excellent and ready to assist. Hotel is not oceanfront but very centrally located, 2 blocks from waterfront.
We cannot say enough about this hotel and staff, best hotel in town. Particular mention must be made about the Resident Manager Khun William. Never in our 40 plus years of travelling and staying in hotels worldwide have we ever come across a more dedicated, customer orientated manager who goes out of his way to ensuring his guests have an enjoyable stay. His generous personality and his genuine desire to be of assistance is truly remarkable in the hotel industry. Nothing is too big or small for Khun William., Without a doubt this is where we will stay on next visit.

A wonderful hotel w/a slightly obstructed view of Prachuap Bay. We had a comfortable king-sized bed, good a/c, and wifi, and plenty of space fir yoga. The breakfast bar had an incredible array of western and Thai options, and the head chef made special gluten free dishes. Check out the wide assortment of candy and they even have candy for those with diabetes!

We stay there only one night on our trip to the south and arrive at late night. Even at 1:00 am the staff was friendly, very helpful with luggage and park my car. The room was very clean, big and the beds are comfortable. We enjoy also the nice view from our room in the morning. The breakfast was unexpectedly varied and all food was refilled until the end of breakfast time. Further more the food was fresh, delicious and tasty. The staff at the breakfast was attentive and friendly. In total we can recommend this hotel.

I haven't stayed in this hotel, but I had lunch there today. What I discovered is that the restaurant is a class (or two) above other hotel restaurants in the town. The menu was offered the usual dishes, but the ingredients were fresh and tasty, and the cooking was skillful and imaginative.

We stayed here for two night. Clean attentive and worth the 2000 baht for the night. We are family of 3 so we got the king bed and extra rollaway . Pool is basic but clean. Parking was easy to do. The think we liked the most is that you can walk to the pier I. Less than 10 min and plenty of eateries and street food near by.

The best choice! Clean rooms, clean property, and great restaurant. Such friendly helpful staff! This place is a treasure, and is underrated at 3 stars. After a 10 day stay here, I look forward to returning.

The hotel is 'Grand' enough in terms of size. It has lots of rooms, although the building's narrowest profile is to the bay. Therefore, the majority of the rooms are on the sides and with only partial sea views. I was on the 6th floor close to the lift, and therein lies my only complaint: the b****y chimes of the lifts! Every time every lift stopped at every floor, that ringing two-tone major 3rd chime would sound right outside my door. It nearly drove me to distraction on my first and second day. Mind you, they did seem to have a large party staying at that time. On my third and final day, the hotel seemed practically empty so it was less of a problem.
My room was spacious and clean, if rather spartan. Yes, it would be nice if they could provide one or two comfy chairs in which guests can relax. The balcony is a nice touch: I enjoyed a regular sundowner there (sat in the only desk chair!). It has to be said that the bed was on the hard side. That's fairly typical in this part of the world and it's not a problem for me. However, I can appreciate that others might feel differently. Breakfast was ok. I'm reasonably fussy about these things, but I thought it had all the essentials: fresh fruit, cereal and a range of cooked items. In general, the staff tried their hardest to be friendly and helpful. You really can't expect perfect English outside the main tourist areas, but with patience and a few smiles, we eventually managed to sort out any queries.
The hotel is situated centrally on the main strip inside the town. Both the day and night markets are just a few minutes walking distance, as is a 7-11 shop. This was my first visit to PKK, so I can't really make comparisons. However, I enjoyed my few days in this delightful town very much. The hotel seemed to me to be a satisfactory option. It could not be said to be pricey by any standards, so I felt it represented fair value for money. Just don't expect lots of luxurious touches.

Prachuap Grand Hotel exceeded our expectations on every front. Reception and checkout were both efficient and friendly, as were all staff we encountered on our brief stay. The hotel is well designed and decorated in a fresh, light and modern style. We booked junior suites and were pleased to see each has two large rooms. The generous sitting room (with views to the mountains) contains comfortable lounge, desk, television, fridge and tea/coffee facilities. The large bedroom has a balcony on the side with views of the ocean. Both rooms have individual air conditioners. Beds were comfortable, pillows were soft. Bathrooms were large, clean and very practical. The breakfast buffet was a huge surprise in this price range with eggs, waffles, cereals, fruit, toast and the usual Asian options.
The only negative I could find was a loud air conditioning unit outside our window but it was from a neighbouring building below so not much they can do about that. It was a little annoying but really didn’t stop us from sleeping.
The hotel is well located, just two small blocks back from an attractive promenade with a number of restaurants and bars on offer.
After looking around at other options in town, we will definitely return to Prachuap Grand when in this area.

Yes you can!!!! Just ask at reception and 5 min later a nice Thai man rocks up with a scooter and 2 helmets . 200 bht for 24 hrs. He showed us where to drop the scooter off.( 10 min walk from hotel). He was super friendly and honest and spoke reasonable English. Awesome service.
