After months of Covid 19 lockdown and quarantine, it is great to finally travel down south for a breath of fresh air. Safety measures and social distancing are still in place but a ray of hope for the tourism industry is just around the corner. Still nothing beats the sight of the ocean on a cloudy morning after over a 4 hour drive from Bangkok City. Skeletal staff provides the same hospitality and amenities are well maintained in the midst of the new normal. Of course, continue to stay safe and healthy.

I was at Nishaville for 4 days for some business meetings. The place is amazing, with gorgeous beaches and inviting pools. The food was not stellar but quite okay for the duration.
Front desk service was superb. Service staff was commendable.

We spent a good week in one of the villas, and everything was just perfect. Location is fantastic, beach is nice and clean, there are some activities around (but it's better to have a car). Restaurant is good and service particularly friendly & pleasant. Value for money is very good overall. Even a wedding with drunken germans did not maange to completely spoil the place!

So we have checked into Nishaville today and I am soooo disappointed with the place. This time when we came there was no hand washing soap in the toilet. When I called the reception they said its finished. They they said they have only shower gel. So I said OK. So they sent someone over and with 2 bottles and a bill of 200thb. It's a joke.

Not sure how to review this as the Nishaville is not exactly what we believed it to be when we booked it through Hotels.com. From the Nishaville’s own website we expected a 3-4 star hotel with all the facilities offered in detail on that website. What we found though was a series of apartments and bungalows equipped for self-catering and, being low season I presume, with some of the facilities simply non-existent or not available. Missing or closed restaurants and bars, some places not available to different parts of the resort, even the well-advertised Spa appeared closed and deserted. Bicycles and kayaks are advertised as available free of charge for guests to use in the resort but there was no sign of them and were certainly not offered by the staff. Our room was in The Residence which is a condominium located well away from the rest of the resort and comprising one, two or three-bedroom apartments. Apart from the ground floor apartments, there is no direct access to the swimming pool, fitness centre nor to the beach, access to those facilities is by a circuitous walk around the outside of the building. Being only a couple, we were allocated a two bedroom apartment with one bedroom being locked and inaccessible to make it a one-bedroom. Strangely enough, although we had requested a twin-bed room, the twin room was the one locked off so we had to make do with the room with the double bed. The only operating restaurant is a fair walk away from The Residence and is an open-air restaurant pestered by flies. There is a bar in the restaurant although no bar-seating and no competent bartender. To specific detail, the bed is very comfortable and the pillows soft although we had to request extra pillows, the one pillow allocated per person is not enough. The bathroom is dark but with a nice enclosed shower unit spoiled by the fact that the water pressure varies constantly making it difficult to adjust temperature. The same variable water pressure ensures that the washbasin provides an annoying shower of its own when the pressure boost comes with the tap open. The kitchenette is equipped with hob, oven and microwave and a full-size fridge albeit with the absolute minimum in the way of utensils. Free wi-fi is excellent throughout the resort with good speed, there being a wi-fi repeater in each suite. Room cleaning is simply not good enough, the room is plagued with ants especially on the dining table and the towels and robes are left wherever they fell and dirty coffee cups are left lying on the table without washing. The restaurant and bar is a mixed blessing. We first had lunch and chose western dishes which were acceptable. Later, for dinner we started with asking for the Classic Dry Martini cocktail offered on the menu. What we received was a revelation: equal parts gin, vermouth, lime juice and syrup ! The only acceptable part of it was the olive ! The bartender, an very pleasant but untrained young man, is not to blame, the management are to blame for putting a novice in that position without any training. For dinner that day we decided to eat Thai style and ordered some classic Thai dishes and I think I can safely say that not one of those dishes would be acceptable to most Thais, we didn’t eat much of them. We were amazed that a Thai restaurant with a Thai chef in Thailand could produce such dishes. The free buffet breakfast though was a different story and saved the reputation of the f&b staff. A slightly different location from the daytime restaurant it offered a good selection of western and Thai breakfast staples with eggs cooked to order, fruit and salad, and good coffee. It was only let down by the fact that the fruit juices were obviously watered. A pity too that the flies were such a nuisance. Maybe it is because June is considered a low season month that facilities were not up to scratch, most of the staff tried hard to please but some were obviously completely untrained in how to look after guests. To top it all, the check-out clerk simply did not know how to handle the check-out of a hotels.com pre-paid guest and at first wanted us to sign a credit card slip not even ours. The location of Nishaville is rather remote, about 120 kms south of Hua Hin and at least 4 hours drive from Bangkok, there are no nearby restaurants other than those in the resort but the beach is very nice, clean, long and deserted (in June anyway). Obviously a resort for families but probably only in the high season when I hope all the facilities would be fully operational. It is more like a series of serviced apartments than a hotel. The degree of service is questionable.

We have stayed here on 3 previous occasions but this will be that last time. We visited over the Christmas Period and took friends with us, we were in a Sand Villa, which really needs some attention. Curtains in lounge and bedroom were hanging off hooks, lights in bathroom had broken bulbs and fittings in bathroom are showing their age. A joining villa had fascia boards missing and in bad repair. Staff were under pressure at breakfast and even at 09.00 bowls of fruit were left empty and some hot dishes were also empty. There was no cold milk no tea and no hot water, this is unacceptable. When tables were cleaned by staff and food left on table and mats was just brushed onto the floor. Again not acceptable. the glass light fittings in the breakfast area are full of dead flies, again not acceptable. We had stayed two weeks prior to our visit and booked with the restaurant Manager a table for the 25th December for dinner. When we re checked on our arrival for Christmas, we were told they had no booking for us. No sorry we will sort it nothing. Staff through the resort all seem very unhappy and do not want to smile or engage in conversation. This is totally different to 12 months ago, what has happened. On checking out the Manager was in reception, I asked if I could replay the problems we had encountered, he said yes, so we told him of the problems and he said thank you and walked away, certainly not what I expected. This resort has gone down hill very fast and now there are some very very good new hotels in the area, we will be staying in one of these next time.

We, a family of 2 Adults and 5 children, found this lovely place in the end of a 5 week journey in Thailand. This was absolut one of the highlights. We stayed here 9 days. The hospitality, food and accomodation were in top. WE WILL certainly return given the chance.

This is a perfect place for a getaway, relaxing holidays in a natural environnement, beautiful scenery, the villa don,t have the perfect privicy (outdoor) and no private pool but it is compensate but the well interior design, it is modern, very bright, the furniture are at a high quality with a very full equipped kitchen. There is a lot of space in the resort to walk and the beach is very quiet you can walk for a long time without been disturbed by anything except the birds and crabs crawling around. The restaurant can get crowded at night with Scandinavian resident so just your table in advance, the food was not bad but can be improved. The place it's quiet far from Bangkok as very isoled but very worth the trip so I recommend to spend few nights rather just just 1 or 2 nights. Highly recommended for a romantic getaway and great relaxing holidays.

where during the last ten years 6 times at the resort. Nower days all facilities closed, no breakfast, and reduced service in the bungalows. We hope the management will think over the newly installed concept otherwise the resort will be empty and the quality of the installation getting worse. Even by missing the above mentioned items, they charge you the same as it was in February 2019. You can find same places closer to Bangkok. It is a mess that we see this developement

If you do not have your own car, you can use the VAN public transportation, they are at the Southern Bus Station, you buy a ticket for the VAN which has the last stop at Bang Sa Phan or Thap Sakae District because the resort are on the way, you have to tell the driver to stop at Wat Samut tharam, they know very well.
And you have to call to the resort to let them know that you are going to their resort, so they will arrange to car to pick you up at the VAN stop.
Have a Nice Day!
Dear Igzam
Sawasdee krub, Greeting from NishaVille Resort & Spa.
Thank you for your question. There are many local restaurants around our resort. Here is kind of small local community. Nearest market is about 15 km call Tub Sakae district south from here & downtown of this province is about 25 km up north. By the way our restaurant is meeting point for local people. We do served good Thai & international food with reasonable price.
