This was our first visit to the hotel, it is in a very tranquil position on the beach with another hotel approx 500 mtrs down the road, there is a what we call a mama and papa shop across the road but no restaurants within easy walking distance so if you wish to dine out transport is required. We stayed in a garden bungalow which was spacious, nice design with a nice big bathroom, towels changed every day and bedding every two days. Pool towels available from the restaurant. The pool is a nice big pool with an adequate amount of sunbeds and umbrellas around it, whilst we were there for our 4 night visit we only saw about 3 people around the pool for a short period of time. The beach in front of the pool has no sunbeds due to Thai law and stretches for miles in each direction with absolutely nobody on it! As we did not have our own transport we ate in the restaurant every night, the food was very good and reasonably priced considering it was a hotel, we compared it to the price of food at the beach restaurants on Koh Lanta that visited, a big Chang in the hotel was 100 baht which we did not consider a bad price for a hotel. The manager and the staff were very friendly and the grounds very well kept. Whilst our stay was quite and it is the perfect place to totally unwind, at the week end there was a bus full of Thais that were staying there but did not make that much noise considering that they were celebrating. If you wish to totally unwind in very peaceful surroundings, Kuri Buri Hotel and resort could be for you./

The room was average so the price of 1090 baht (28/12/21) was inappropriate. I was not given my 10 baht change. The pool area is fine but if you want to swim in the sea, there seems to be a lot of blackish silt to wade through. I didn't venture in...so for a resort by the sea but with the sea uninviting, i give three stars.

The resort is located south of Hua Hin and after Pranburi if you are traveling from Bangkok. As the resort is located off the main trunk road and we had arrived at night, we thought we had lost our way along the unlit road until we saw the hotel sign. Earlier, the reception staff had called if we were coming.
As the photos show, the tranquility of resort grounds, the long stretches of quiet beaches and the sea with a clear horizon made up for the long drive.
After our late night arrival, we had supper of fish porridge in the beachfront restaurant to the peaceful sounds of waves lapping on the shoreline. Looking out towards the sea, it was darkness save for the shimmering waters where it caught the reflection of the moon or the green lights on fishing boats out at sea. In the restaurant, mosquitoes were feasting on us as we hurriedly finished our supper. So, do bring along your insect repellent.
The next morning, instead of the darkness of the previous night, it was a wide expanse of beachfront from the resort to the waterline. On both sides, the beach stretched into the distance. And the beach was empty! No fishing boats. No fishing nets. No deck chairs. No makeshift tents. No vendors. No washed up debris. Unlike any beach in Hua Hin, Pattaya or Samui. It was just the beach and us. But what really impressed us was the clean, soft and powdery sand on the beach.
A large swimming pool looks out to the beach. Spread around the pool are the sea villas. Further away from the beach are the garden villas, each with similar size and amenities as the sea villa but minus the sea view. Standard hotel rooms are available in low-rise buildings. Meeting facilities, a karaoke room and a spa are available.
What the resort lacks in terms of international class facilities, amenities, services and cuisines, it makes up with the tranquility of resort grounds, beautiful and unspoiled beach, absence of distractions and "noise", and the abundance of space to unwind and quietly enjoy nature. That's priceless and warrants a 4-star rating.

A silent place in the middle of nowhere. There you need a good TV set and top WiFi. However, they were the worst. While old air-condition compressors are hammering you out of any sleep, the ancient tube-TV will finish you up. WiFi is breaking up every 30 minutes by concept and needs to be restarted. Pool – Restaurant and Bar-area are not so bad. The worst stay of my trip... never again! My condolences to everyone who has to stay here.

Stayed 4 nights, location is quite and nice if that is what you are after, also pool is good, gym very limited, wifi only in lobby and many insect bites surfing the net. Bedroom sheets were very dirty obviously not changed from previous customer, I wasn't happy.
Also buffet on weekend or when they have tour group otherwise limited to 2 options for the rest of the week. service needs to be worked on, and price of food I felt was probably 20% too high but still cheap by western standards.
Also English was very limited, this is primarily a thai hotel.

We stayed here for three nights as we were planning to go to the national parks nearby, so the location was good. The pool was very large and overlooked the beach. The staff were polite, but not very helpful as they didn't speak any English. The hotel is very geared for tourists from Bangkok. There are not very many places to eat in the area so we ate a few meals at the hotel and the food was mediocre. The (included) breakfasts were terrible and we didn't even both with it on our last morning. The overall management seemed to not care very much...

Whenever we get a few days break, we like to drive to a coastal town that is not too far from Bangkok. Hua Hin is close enough but unfortunately full of tourists and too noisy. If you are after some fresh sea air and long peaceful walks along the beach, Kuiburi Hotel Resort is only another 60Km to the south and its location is ideal.
The resort offers villas and hotel rooms, and a decent sized swimming pool. It actually is situated right on the beach. The villas are very clean, roomy enough to add a folding bed, and have decent bathrooms with a recessed shower with curtain. No hassles of wet bathroom floors here. Sea-view villas have a good view of the pool area and the beach. As most of the guests of this hotel are Thai people from Bangkok, the breakfast caters for the Thai taste. It's not fancy but it is adequate and includes cut fruit and hot dishes, as well as toast, butter and jam. There are not many restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel but, we found the hotel's own restaurant food very tasty and reasonably priced. A neighbouring hotel restaurant, where we visited friends and dined together, offered only average quality at fairly higher prices.
If you are coming from outside of Thailand, particularly a first time visitor to Thailand, the area around this resort does not have the usual tourist attractions and no easy/quick/cheap transport to anywhere. However, if you want to stay put for a few days in a simple but peaceful spot, away from the noise and hassle of big towns, this could be the place you are looking for. However, make sure to pre-arrange transportation to and from Bangkok and allow sufficient travel time to get to the airport.
Again, if you are a newcomer to Thailand, some of the things you will see and find at this resort - and most possibly at every other hotel in Thailand in similar price range- can and will disappoint you. For example; the speed with which the areas around the pool, the restaurant and the general surroundings of the resort is attended to, is performed in Thai time. Not in Western time. "No rush" is quite the norm in Thailand and if you are ready to accept it as it is, it will not bother you. If you expect to find strict Western standards, you might as well stick to Western cultures or make sure to pay 3-5 times more than the price of this resort to find it.

We originally booked for 1 night prior to a shopping trip to Singkhon. Fell in love with the wonderful position of the hotel - right on the beach - and booked for a second night. We only booked a standard room which was medium size but having looked at the deluxe rooms we will definitely book one of these next time. Yes we will definitely go back there. Our room was a little "tired" looking but was spotlessly clean. The manager introduced himself on arrival and was very helpful. The restaurant is large and had fabulous décor. Breakfast could be improved on but it was typical of the Thai version of an American breakfast. The 2 evening meals we had were very good with my husband raving about the salmon fillet in red curry sauce - its in his top 5 dishes of Thailand.

I stayed here during New Year holiday. The hotel is quite far from Hua Hin town (1 hour drive). It is located on a nice and quiet beach which there are only 2 hotels on the beach. The deluxe room is spacious and clean. In the morning of the new year, the hotel provides a food pack to the guest to offer to the monk on the beach which was nice.
Overall, it's a different experience, away from the usual crowded Hua Hin town.
