They have different rooms, going from big bungalow, small bungalow (I think around 1500 baht), till (what they call) small room, but it's still a very spacious luxury double bed room for only 1000 baht. The room is very clean, looks quite new, and has a small balcony. It has all amenities you possibly need, from TV, hairdryer, water hot pot (apparently without coffee though)... till ear cotton buds and a bit of washing powder. It has also a decent shower (and very powerful if you mix warm with cold water). Breakfast seems 300 baht extra (2 pers.), but I didn't try it. The resort is located on a big compound with plenty of parking space. (The bungalows are next to their swimming pool, but also closer to the road, so could be just a bit noisier). It's not really conveniently located if you don't have your own transport. But on the other hand, if you are looking for a really quiet beach, this is it. The beach itself is rather narrow, but about no tourists, let alone Western tourists. As a consequence, there are only a few restaurants and shops in the neighbourhood (with probably not much English language skills.)

The first night we were the only guests of this lovely resort, with very spacious 100% clean well kept bungalows and a lovely pool. The park-like garden is very well kept with some lovely furniture and the view at the seaside, just across the not too busy road towards the island Koh Talu is lovely and changes constantly with the weather (we were there during the rainy season). The kitchen is very good (best scrambled eggs and omelet) in Thailand with lots of fresh seafood on the menu, but for us, veggies they cooked off the menu some lovely vegetable curries (Masang Man: lovely and spicy and yellow: mild and rich). When you are here, don't forget to go snorkeling near Koh Talu (500 bath per person incl taxi and warm non-vegetarian lunch). Lovely stay, lovely quiet end of an action packed Thailand holiday.

I had been there for 2 days in April 2014. Nice hotel, very clean, with big rooms. I was in number 3, nice but with problems with WiFi, which I needed, being there for job.
I had a good supper, with fish soup and sliced pork. The following morning, the surprise: very poor breakfast, everything a la carte (cheap in any case) but limited in choice.
And if you aren't brave, don't try Thai breakfast!
34 € a night, booking through my customer.
Bye,
Marco

This place is surprising..we were just wandering along looking for somewhere to stay and came across Sailom Resort...if only we did not have to be elsewhere next day we would have stayed longer....incredibly clean and spacious bungalows with exceptional bathrooms..great balcony and pool...and quiet. Great food in the restaurant and delightful and helpful friendly staff. Shall return.

Then go to Sailom Resort at Bangsaphan! We just love the peaceful gardens and the beautiful location of this place and feel very reluctant to leave it every time we go there. The individual one bedroom villas are very comfortable and can easily accommodate 3 or even 4 people, if you don't mind staying altogether in the same room. They have two double beds that are comfortable and clean with AC, fridge and Cable TV. Shower and toilet area is also clean and very practical. There are bigger villas with an extra bedroom but I haven't stayed in one of these. The swimming pool is not a big one but it is well situated in front of the villas and very pleasant. The beach right in front of the resort is ideal for early morning and sunset walks but not good for swimming. A Thai or American breakfast is included in the price and, while not so exciting, it is adequate. The restaurant serves mainly Thai food that is also adequate but not really fancy. The staff, like everywhere in Thailand are polite and try very hard to please. However, foreigners often mistake their shy nature and limited English language, to reluctance to do the right thing. But in fact, Thai people just stop trying because they are afraid of being embarrassed. Bang Saphan is not an area with lots of foreign tourists and, therefore, is not easily reached if you are not familiar with Thailand. It can be reached by train or Bus from Bangkok. The resort is a fair distance from both and if you are able to ride a motorbike then you can hire one to get there and also discover the surrounding areas. We usually hire a car from Bangkok and drive down to Bangsaphan and stay a few days driving to all the other nice beaches in the area.

We've been staying at the resort for a full week and enjoyed the luxury (of our family bedroom) and very personalised and attentive service of the staff (alltough communication was a bit difficult - their English and my Thai was not very good).
The beach in front of the resort is very nice - but the sea is not suitable for swimming. The water is very murky - but for a small fee the staff is very happy to bring you to beaches which fit your fantasies of tropical getaways.
Bang Saphan is very nice town - far away from the tourist trail - but with lots of interesting sights and possibilities for daytrips.

New and very good and clean rooms compared with price. Very good service. Food is average but cheap and clean. They cannot do western food. Good small pool. The hotel has not own beach. The sea beach close to hotel is uncleaned. Hire a motorbike and drive to better beaches within 10 minutes. Never too much traffic.
Bangsaphan is a very small town on the coast, 2 hours drive south from Hua Hin, a good place to see local people and tens of kilometers remote palm beach, not too much tourists so far. People are very friendly and I have felt myself safe everywhere. I strongly recommend Bangsaphan, I have been there over 10 times because of my project work at the steel mill nearby.

Had a very comfortable nights sleep . Breakfast was very nice well cooked and presented. We would definitely return and recommend this hotel

We recently arrived at Sailom Resort Bang Saphan with an open mind. First of all we were worried that the recent storms would have wreaked havoc with the place and secondly it took us ages to find. When we did finally arrive we realised that the resort itself was stunning. Lovely swimming pool, which overlooked the sea, there was a road in front of the resort but you don't see that. The villas we were given were great, very large and spotlessly clean. We overlooked the pool and could see the sea. Breakfast was fine, with a choice of English or Thai food. The staff were very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. The only downside to the resort was that it is isolated. There is one bar and restaurant opposite, very Thai, they don't speak English at all, but the food was good. Apart from that one, you need a car. My only gripe about the resort is that the slippers they provide have been used which puts me off, so take your own if you like to wear them

"The single room villas are big enough for a family with two children and the children can play in the garden and the pool for a day or maybe two. But not much else to occupy them for longer if you don't have transport to take them out and about."
