This privately owned Chateau is stunning, set in beautiful parkland. A smart restaurant and also a chic little 'Cote Bistrot' looking out over the park, It is great for indoor or outdoor dining. A good choice of menus or a la carte and carefully prepared and tasty food. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed and so is the service.

We stayed here for just one night on a touring trip though France. Although we originally found it difficult to find, even with our sat nav, the effort was well worth it. It's actually situated a few kilometres to the north east of Gabarret. It's a typical old French chateau but with modern contemporary additions. The restaurant served beautiful food... More

We stayed here for a week in June 2015. The hotel is just beautiful set in gorgeous grounds with a swimming pool, tennis courts etc. The rooms are relatively simple but clean and most with stunning views. The restaurant far exceeds the hotel rating and people come from far and wide to taste the marvellous offerings of Angelique. The set... More

There is not a 'downside' to a stay at the Chateau Buros! I was there for 3 nights on a demi-pension. The room, all the staff, and the owners are unbelievably excellent in every aspect. The dinner meals were so perfectly plated, a work of art and the taste of each dish was a wonderful experience.......chapeau to the chef! Every... More

We spend only one night on a business trip and I wish I had more time to discover this beautiful area. The chateau is beautiful with nice and cosy rooms, the dinner was fabulous and the chilling in the sunny garden perfect. The couple managing this chateau is helpful and friendly and you feel immediately welcomed home. Make sure you... More

Angelique welcomed us with a local drink in the garden. She is a wonderful cook and we thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, the food and the wines. Martijn is a great host and a mine of local information. The staff are attentive and polite. It's a good location to explore the golf courses in the neighbourhood. There are 4 holes on... More

THis was our second three day visit to a family run Chateau Hotel with first class facilities, including a pool and tennis court. From the friendly welcome on arrival to the moment of departure, Marjin and Angelique and their staff could not have done more. The quality of the meals was of a very high standard - the cepes soup... More

When we arrived after a marathon car journey from England, slightly weary, we were immediately greeted by a large friendly smile from Marijn the husband and co-owner, and were made to feel instantly welcome. The hotel itself is an 18th century chateau in beautiful grounds with a lovely pool and tennis court. The food was absolutely delicious, a daily changing... More
