Did not expect to find such a place off the beaten track, loved the setting and the cabins were big and we had a great view of the lake. Had a lovely walk and canoes were available for a paddle. Great place!

If you are looking for a peaceful & beautiful Hotel hidden in nature …this is it! Positive: A resort with no neighbours, a private lake in your own private valley. The cabin was spacious, modern, clean and in mint condition. Generous patio/balcony. Very big bathroom. Large closet. Big refrigerator, coffeemaker, water boiler, microwave and TV are available. The Food in...

This place is amazing. The accommodation is made up of log cabins dotted throughout the property. They are large and very well appointed. If you like peace and quiet this is the place to stay. The lodges are very comfortable and we had a balcony with a view of the lake. We were warned that a black bear had recently...

Log cabin nice and cosy. Journey interesting. Super map on the website so had little difficulty finding it. From other reviews I expected the final part of the road up from Clearwater to be a muddy lane. But the surface was quite solid with only a few patches of pot holing in spite of incessant rain. The information regarding wifi...

The chalet was nice. Nice room and lounge, lovely view. The lake is amazing. Not too many hikes around but enough for one day. The restaurant food was not good at all and very overpriced. We ate there only the night we arrived and on the second night we decided to go for a microwave meal .... better value. Breakfast...

We could not understand the comments about a rough road as we left Clearwater on a worn but good tarmac surface - then rounding a bend after about 12Km we saw the mud track, it had been raining and so was quite muddy, going up to our left and yes that was the way! Fortunately we had been given a...

It is the most idyllic location, tranquil and serene. Ok, it's quite a way from anywhere, but that's what is so nice, a real feeling of being one with nature. Reception were extremely helpful, advising on local traffic re-routing and producing maps. Our chalet was well equipped with great views over the lake. Morning breakfast was good too. I really...

We had three days here. After 10 consecutive days of sunshine throughout our travels we came down with a bump and misty, drizzly wet weather every day. Did it spoil it - ABSOLUTELY NOT. We arrived via the quirky ferry at Little Fort (you have to sound your horn if it is unattended). The river was fast flowing and once...

I loved the spacious cabin, the remote location and maybe most the fantastic restaurant! Wifi was not always reliable but thats to be expected in remote location. No wifi at restaurant. Some cabins are close to restaurant, others are a 15 min. walk.

When you eventually arrive, you will either love it or hate it. We loved it, but were disappointed with the lack of hiking trails, if you are a keen hiker Clearwater is a better base, but if you just want to relax for a night or two, this is perfect. The chalet was bright and spacious with an excellent kitchen,...
