It's hard to describe the magic that Allyson and the team at Siwash create for their guests. We stayed for 5 days in their amazing canvass cabins (complete with heated bathroom floors) and enjoyed a wide array of adventures including equestrian coaching, yoga, hiking, learning to fly fish, relaxing deep tissue massage, and archery. I'm a "foodie," and was delighted...

I have just read a few of the previous reviews and I heartily agree with them - Siwash Lake Ranch is truly wonderful experience. If I had to choose just two items to highlight, they would be the gourmet food and the superior customer service. Derrick is an outstanding chef - each meal is fresh, full of delectable tastes and...

My wife and I visited Siwash for a week for our anniversary in early August, and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience. The resort is located in a beautiful meadow, surrounded by hills, with two small lakes in the middle. The "tent" in which we stayed (really more like a spacious, multi-room, soft-sided cabin with the most...

We were looking for a dude ranch that had activities in addition to riding. We like horses, but didn't want to just ride all week. Siwash was perfect for that reason, and many others. The range of activities means there is something for everyone, even our picky teen. We rode for 2 days, went fly fishing, spinner fishing, hiking, paddleboarding,...

Our family had the pleasure of visiting Siwash Lake Ranch this summer. They were very family friendly. From the first day, everyone knew our first names--from the server at breakfast to the owner. The tent was incredible. It was like a luxury room but the kids thought they were in a tent. Meals were incredible. Babysitting was available and incredible....

It's taken me longer than I wanted to write this, as words seriously cannot describe the wonderful experience I had staying at Siwash Lake Ranch. First of all, the setting is like no other. I always thought I lived in a remote community on Vancouver Island, but this is wayy out there. I admit, I had anxiety in the first...

We have just returned from our first ever ranch experience and it was quite simply fantastic- the best holiday we have ever had!! The ranch is not a themed hotel it is genuinely Alyson and her family's home and you are their guests. We were allocated our own horses for the week which rather bizarely seemed to reflect our own...

The isolation of Siwash makes this a very special place to stay and relax. The cuisine was outstanding. All the staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful and friendly and made you feel like one of the family. The riding was excellent and a good choice of horses and the wranglers helped individual needs. Although it was our choice to have...

Allyson and Roy---I cannot thank you enough for making my stay at your beautiful ranch absolutely wonderful! The hospitality, accommodations, food and horseback riding were first class-----all exceeded my expectations! The "Equine experience" was the highlight of my trip. I found the initial "orientation" before my first ride to be very interesting, thorough and informative. I was extremely impressed with...
