We have stayed here twice before and love the location. However the facilities are very tired. The hand towel dispensers in the toilets were empty, and one of the taps had broken. The park is in a great location for visiting Takapuna.

this place is a little jem,it is situated just a little distance away from takapuna shops, but has the million dollar views. the park is near a public walkway which i wondered might be noisy, but not to bad. the campground has been under a cloud of closing, but hopefully as i write this that decision, will be to keep...

This camp is awesome, so close to shops, a lovely beach and surrounding real estate. Yes the facilities are old but they are functional. NZ has lost many beach front camping grounds to real estate development, this needs to be kept. There are limited options for campers close to the city. Book to avoid being disappointed.

One of the best beach front Holiday Parks and close to every thing, with a coffee shop and café at the gate. This camp is small, so you need to either book or arrive early. The camp is under threat of closure but it is tidy and there are plans to update facilities [but they are OK] once the owners...

The site is in need of refurbishment but the council will only renew the lease for short periods. The council want to turn it into a marina. It's a lovely spot right next to the beach. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Catch the bus to Devonport and then the ferry to Auckland for a day out. Only 40 mins...

Stayed here at the end of our stay in NZ as we needed to be close to family for a wedding. The park was old and out of date but we went along with it and classed it as 'an experience'. The caravan we stayed in was very old fashioned.. Some lights didn't work and the TV was definitely not...

Great location close to beach and shopping/restaurants. The park looks like it was built in the 60's and hasn't been touched since. It was the most expensive park we used in NZ and the worst. Vines were growing through wall lining in bathroom and the toilet seats should have been replaced 10 years ago. Everything is old and in serious...

Man... What an asset this place is to Auckland. Right in the heart of bustling city madness is this haven of beauty and peace. Who'd've thought Auckland was this good? (And I spent 28 years in Auckland before heading somewhere MUCH nicer). So nice to come back and stay here...
