But it depends on what you booked. We stayed there in June in a premier cabin with loft. Great location with view on the river. The cabin was extremely nice decorated and we enjoyed the fireplace, but also found that if anybody had to sleep in the loft, it would probably too hot. We did not have to use the...

Yes, this lodge is pricy compared to some of the others in the area... but it is also much more luxurious! The cabins are done in a rustic-modern-cabiny style which suits the area very well. Beautiful main lodge with restaurant. Wonderful food! Good location near the road for driving to hiking trail heads. Would come again!

The weather was cold and rainy with snow in the mountains. Due to bad weather, the hotel let us check in early which was welcome. Very accommodating staff and beautiful setting. Cabin was nice and well appointed. I was expecting the lodge to be isolated but it was in view of the trans Canada highway but there was no road...

For the price, you would expect the Cathedral Mountain Lodge to exceed expectations from a service and amenities standpoint. The primer cabins are very nice and private. Each has a fireplace and plenty of wood piled on the front porch. This came in handy when we had to dry our cloths after a couple of hours of cycling in the...

The setting of cabins along river was fantastic. Staff could not have been any better. Staff was friendly and very helpful with anything. Accommodations were great. Having our own fire place was great as we used it each night. Best breakfast we have ever had at a lodging facility. Took advantage of the free canoe time at sister property and...

After a really busy day in the Lake Louise area and Yoho National Park, we where warmly welcomed at Cathedral Mountain Lodge, our lodge was really nicely decorated and very cosy, they are on the small side if you have two large suit cases but the nice large porch seem much to make it feel much bigger, and our cabin...

To start with, the rooms are tiny and the view nonexistent. And if you have kids, stay away - no TVs. The bathrooms don't exactly give ideal privacy, having tissue paper walls. The food - good Lord, I don't know where to begin. They claim to have won awards, but it must have been another chef. Our food took an...

We stayed June 25, 2012 and from the moment we booked here till when we checked out everything was perfect. We stayed in the chalet with a loft. There was a queen size bed on the main floor with two twin beds up a ladder to the loft. Would not be appropriate if you are planning on sleeping young children...

I stayed at the lodge for 4 nights at one of the deluxe twin bed cabins as a package offered at luxurylink.com Location - nice secluded location in Yoho National Park by Kicking Horse river, about 15 mins drive from Emerald Lake. While it appears to be serene and tranquil from the outside, the lodge is also near the main...

Though this hotel is well located, well built and serves decent food, we won't stay there again, since we found the staff and service awful. As a starter, we arrived to check in, the manager was casually chatting to a couple and didn't acknowledge us for almost 10 minutes, which was quite unprofessional. When we went to buy some wine...
