As everyone says, the rooms are a little tired, but it's worth it for the location. The restaurant is great! The caribou medallions and the charcuterie were delicious. However, in my opinion the breakfast buffet isn't worth it, quite expensive for cheap food.

We were there two weeks ago. The lake was still about 80% frozen. It could not have been canoed at that time.
