Was up working in Fort Nelson for about a week. My first visit to this part of the province. I didn't choose the hotel, but had no complaints regarding my stay. The front desk staff is excellent and very friendly. Delicious food and drinks at The One every evening were usually served by the beautiful and talented Lucie. After working...

Woodlands Inn is definitely "the" place to stay in Fort Nelson. Excellent rooms and suites with no detail overlooked. We have been visiting For Nelson once a year for several years and have reviewed all the hotels/accommodations and we wouldn't book anywhere else. If you like ground floor accommodation, book a suite and you get private outdoor access and a...

Forest fires forced a change in our itinerary. So we ended up in Ft Nelson with only a day of planning. The hotel was very accommodating and helpful because of our plans. The room was large (king size bed) and clean. We did laundry here. OK facilities but half the machines weren't working and a group of servicemen working there...

Front desk night person "Lisa" was very helpful and cheerful to help us with checking in, getting us a late supper and lunches { thanks "Andre"}. "Lisa" went over and above her job requirements making sure we were ready and prepared for the scheduled power outage. She had coffee set up early so it would be hot for us, and...

It is great to have a welcoming place on the other side of the province ready for me after 5 hours of travelling. The staff were all friendly and helpful. After a good night, I think I found my new best breakfast at The One!

WE had a very comfortable stay as usual at the Woodlands. We are treated as family and the staff remember our names and have kept record of our personal information when checking in. This speeds up the registration and check out times. This is especially important for business.

I stayed here twice in July and August on my way to and from Alaska. The manager picked me up at the airport both times and someone took me back the next morning. The hotel is clean and well kept, the restaurant food is good, and the price is very reasonable. the date of my second visit was a provincial...

Making the trip up the Alcan, we decided to stop in Fort Nelson to get some much needed sleep. Last wifi spot, 300 miles ago, we looked in case we made it all the way and knew the internet pre-cost. We rolled in at 3am, and there was no difference when I walked in without a reservation. Lovely front desk...
