Addington Arms came highly recommended and we were not disappointed. Our host Chris was very friendly. We stayed in the Top Sail suite (which had a steam shower, awesome!) which was very nice and roomy. Our breakfast was included and it was 5 star! You could walk to everything. Please consider staying at Addington Arms when in Lunenburg. Thank-you Chris...

Chris and Dan are very accommodating, The rooms are large, beautiful and first class linens. Bathroom include steam and oils. The breakfasts are amazing with fresh berries, a variety of other offerings including smoked salmon with scrambled eggs and nice breads. Chris directed us to beautiful drives and suggested excellent restaurants including a pub I'll always judge other pubs by--Knots...

This is the second time I have stayed at the Addington Arms in Lunenburg and my first impression was confirmed - it's a fantastic place to stay. My first visit was with my wife on a vacation we raved about our experiences in Nova scotia and particularly in the Addington Arms. This time I was there on business and this...

I recently stayed here with a colleague on business, for four nights. Chris and Dan went out of their way to accommodate our needs. An early breakfast every day, and late night snacks made a demanding work schedule possible. The suite had every comfort one could need. Breakfasts were imaginative and ample. I hope to return for a holiday at...

My colleague and I stayed for 4 nights. Our hosts, Chris and Dan catered to our every need. If you could call service at a b&b wining and dining I would describe it that way. The suites are well-equipped and comfy, with private bath. You can chose your room or suite in their website with accurate photos. What you see...

The location and quality of the inn was only surpassed by the hospitality of the hosts. Breakfast was gourmet and the room was comfortable, spacious, and romantic. We loved the inn and Lunenberg was everything we had hoped for. Quaint, historical, and unbelievably beautiful. A must for anyone visiting Nova Scotia.

My husband and I stayed at the fantastic Addington Arms in early September 2015. What a fantastic establishment. Chris greeted us on arrival, we had just travelled from Ireland and where exhausted, but what a welcome! Chris showed us to a beautiful suite, the Topsail. Beautiful comfy bed, separate living room and beautiful double shower bathroom come sauna. We were...

My wife and I stayed at the Addington Arms for 2 nights. The Addington Arms is a heritage building close to the town centre and harbour front. We had a top floor suite that was immaculately furnished. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfasts were second to none. Definitely home cooking at its best. Our hosts also provided very helpful...

The welcome received was exceptional. The location was central to the town and its amenities as well as having a scenic position. The room on third floor was a steep climb but well worth it. It had a separate sitting room, a spacious bathroom which included a steam shower, and bedroom was large and airy.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Addington Arms B&B sits atop 2 fine art galleries and atop the six square block historic district of this UNESCO world heritage site, affording ocean views from all of our suites and room. Shopping, dining and exploring are all just steps outside your front door. We are not your typical B&B but more akin to a boutique hotel, with stocked mini fridges, TV's and en-suite steam-rooms with aroma therapy or an air-jet tub in very spacious surroundings. On-site parking is available as street parking is problematic in the summer months. Our breakfasts are as memorable as the town of Lunenburg itself. ... more   less
