Stayed in the summer of 2016 for one night. I seem to remember being able to walk into the town center. The building is a little weird, very old feeling. We were sort of confused about check-in and how to even exit the property. We in one section of the inn where there was simply a bathroom across the hallway...

This was the one night we were unsure of where we would be staying, as we drove down the east coast of Nova Scotia. As we approached Lunenberg, we started doing a quick search of available accommodations and a few showed, this was the winner and it was just right. The host, Andrea, was super friendly (always available by phone)...

Very clean and tidy , nice room comfy bed. A beautiful Victorian home retaining many period details .Location convenient , but across from gas station. We loved the heritage home , continental breakfast was fine but missed bacon n eggs. No real complaints , will stay again.

It was also a very nice B& B. Andrea is the Innkeeper & she is a lovely young woman. We had room #1 on the main floor. King bed & TV. Very comfortable. Breakfast was left in a basket outside your door. It was very tasty.

Friendly and helpful hostess. Stayed in third floor room with queen bed and then moved into second floor king bed room. Both were clean and maintained with all equipment working. Home has more original status with not a lot of refurbishment done. Breakfast is basket of muffins, croissants, cinnamon buns and fruit. In room Keurig.

I regrettably have to say the Bluenose is sinking. I only saw old furniture in a very hot room on the top floor with extension cords and fans trying to cool it down. The carpets were stained and there was nothing quaint. The restaurant is closed with a basket breakfast instead. The potential is there to be a great Inn...

The Bluenose Lodge is in a central location yet it is still quiet and peaceful. Very quaint and charming with antique furniture and adorable bedding. The breakfast isn't great, food isn't hot and is wrapped up, tasted old. Owner is very kind though, gives great recommendations and is overly hospitable and welcoming. Overall, the stay was great, wouldn't change anything...

The room was comfortable and pleasant with a common room on each floor which was great. The breakfast basket was more than plentiful and quite delicious. We enjoyed that we could walk to the main part of the town where parking is a very difficult thing. The house itself is historic and a very interesting design.

We could only stay one night but the Bluenose Lodge is nothing short of outstanding. The Bluenose itself is a grand and beautiful old building, The rooms and beds are comfortable, the breakfast baskets are great. Hospitality is outstanding. The Lodge is within easy walking distance of the water front and other tourist destinations. I want to go back to...

We stayed at the Bluenose as a family and I struggle to know how to rate it. I've read some of the other reviews and feel that they are not balanced. The good stuff: It is a well situated lodge. Although the junction is busy during the day we were only disturbed once in four nights by people leaving the...
