Detailed Reviews
Just returned from our 3rd stay here with my parents and 3 kids, and can't wait to go back! Nothing beats the convenience of this hotel with kids when it comes to skiing and the general location of it, as well as having a kitchen and living/ dining rooms and washer/dryer! Our view was absolutely beautiful, and the room was spotless, quiet in spite of it being very busy, and had everything we needed. We love the hot tub, gym, older kids playroom and the seating areas to watch little kids in ski school from the lobby! Natalie, the manager, is so friendly, knowledgeable of the area and accommodating, and just a pleasure to work with. My kids have always loved skiing at Tremblant, and this year was no exception. We did private lessons for our youngest with Katrine T and our daughter absolutely loved her and had the best time skiing with her! And my oldest kept requesting to be in Margaret Mary's group- said she was the best ski instructor she's ever had! And our middle child loved Marie Jo! Even though this season hasn't been the best for snow in Tremblant, my husband, an avid skier, had a phenomenal few days skiing there! The tubing evenings were so well organized and well run, and we adored ice skating this year. We love everything about the village and all there is to do there, and we all cannot wait to go back!

Visited this hotel the week before Christmas and was very pleased with our stay. We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit on the 4th floor and found the unit to be very spacious for a family of 4. The kitchen was on the smaller size but had all the necessary appliances and kitchen accessories to make your own food and table large enough to eat in the unit (a big plus since new COViD restrictions prevented indoor dining in restaurants during our stay). The only con with the room was the single bathroom which has a bathtub but also a very small and strange shower tucked in one corner that isn’t very functional. Check in was quick and easy and we were able to check in before our room was ready and drop our bags at the front desk so that we could pick up some groceries nearby. The underground heated parking and ski lockers are very convenient and make unloading the car a breeze and since I forgot to bring a lock the resort provided one for a $25 deposit which I got back upon returning it. The best part of this hotel is the proximity to the ski lifts and lesson area. If you’ve ever had to carry your own equipment plus that of 2 children from parking to the bottom of the main lift you know how difficult it can be. The hotel ski lockers are literally 10 steps from the lesson drop off area and 20 steps from the main gondola line making this the absolute best location from which to start your day without needing to wait for or use the Cabriolet.

Our family of 5 just returned from a 5-night stay at the Sommet des Neiges. We stayed in a 3BR suite and very much appreciated the spaciousness of the suite. It was on the 1st floor facing the mountain and although some may find this to be a "busy" view we absolutely loved opening up the draperies everyday to be right in the center of the hub of the action. Apres ski, it was fun to relax in the suite and watch skiers come down the mountain. In the evenings we enjoyed hearing people walk to and from the village. We were at the end of the hallway so had absolutely no noise issues with other guests next to us or above us.
Our suite consisted of 3 bedrooms (1 King, 2 Queens, 1 Queen) and two full baths. It also had a fully stocked kitchen (we used only the fridge), a foyer large enough to spread out our shoes and ski boots, a small seating area for the living room and a dining table for 6. Everything was clean, well appointed. My only complaints were the small shower in master bath and the odd furniture - functional but mismatched.
At check-in you can sign up for housekeeping services; I signed up for 2 days out of the 5 we were staying. Housekeeping service is very minimal but again, functional.
The Sommet's location is its selling point; the ski rentals and lockers are right below the building, the express gondola is 10 steps away and turn a corner and you'll find yourself at the beginning of the village. There are no shortage of restaurant options and my children found riding the cabriolet to the bottom of the hill to be entertainment in and of itself.
We will definitely return to the Sommet for its location truly can't be beat!

Our visit to Sommet des Neiges got off to a rocky start because somehow our pre-paid reservation was lost between the trip advisor booking partner and the hotel. Staff Patricia and Natalie were very accommodating and found us a place in a neighbouring Lodge for one night until a room was available at Sommet. Once there we found Sommet to be perfectly positioned for ski in ski out at the base of the south side gondola. We were in room 301 and the view out the window was the gondola and slope (see picture).
Our unit had a full kitchen but we did not use it much. There is only a small general store in Tremblant village with little in the way of selection. We had come from the airport by shuttle so were unable to purchase supplies from the closest grocery store to the hill which is about 10K away. We were able to purchase a breakfast sandwich and coffee when a nearby coffee shop opened at 8. I think we would rent a car at the airport next time so we could get more supplies.
The bed was very comfortable but the pillows were not but that’s ok because we bring our own. The couch is quite old and worn and not very comfortable. The closets have those old fashioned hangers that are in a track so they can’t be removed. I was told by the staff that the interiors were to get a re-do which is needed.
The hot tub is one of the best I have seen at a ski resort. It is outside and bi-level. Very nice after a hard day of skiing.
We would definitely return but we would either book directly with Tremblant Suites or call hotel a day or 2 ahead to ensure that our reservation is secure.
Again thanks to Patricia and Natalie for the great service and easing our stress considerably.

They charged us for an extra night. We booked through on Expedia (regular fare(not non refundable) identical price on both Expedia and hotel web site)).
We had a great time but had to leave one day early; talked to the front desk who said that'd be no problem and that we would not be charged. She said that since Expedia already prepaid them she couldn't process the refund but to please have Expedia call the hotel and they'll approve it. Well, Expedia was on the phone with the hotel reservation people for over half an hour. Unfortunately once Expedia hands over money, this hotel does not release it, no matter what! It's unfortunate they didn't back their own front desk staff. We'll be back in Tremblant next month and had every intention of staying at Sommet des Neige. It has very good ski in, ski out. Yes, the rooms are dated but are large. Instead of repeat business, this hotel will get no business. If you decide to go, only book this hotel from their own website.

We were 2 adults and a toddler, and we stayed here for 6 nights.
Check in: Smooth and easy. We didn't spend more than 5 minutes.
Parking: At 20$ a day, it seemed pricey, but since we didn't drive, we utilized the facility to its fullest.
Lobby: A library and village entrance make up the lobby, as well as a barbecue area.
Misc: There is a play area for toddlers, a gym, pool, and hot tub accessible on level P. The hot tub had 2 divisions, one receiving water in the form of a waterfall, and the temperature was perfect. We didn't use the pool since it was a bit cold and it was a rainy day.
Room: We booked a 1 bedroom suite. The renovations seemed recent throughout. The kitchen was stocked with some basic kitchenware and came with dishwasher pods. The washroom was extremely clean and had all toiletries available. There are 2 doors, one of which doesn't have a lock. There is also an ensuite laundry, enough for light loads and 2 detergent pouches were given. The living area had a comfortable sofa that transformed into a bed (strap is behind the middle upright cushion), and a door to peek into the village, as well as a balcony to take in the entire view. The TV didn't have Youtube or Netflix (not a smart TV), and had some basic channels. The bedroom had a comfortable king bed, decent closet and drawer space, TV inside the cabinet, and heating controls on the wall.
Overall: There is a hint of disinterest from the staff when they realize you don't speak English (you know, with the village being a tourist attraction and all), or (and this is just my impression) don't look a certain way that they expect, but once they saw we spoke well, and we knew what we were expecting, we received a much better tone and service.
While that's highly incidental, this place had everything, and we would definitely stay here again. If you're not driving around, staying inside the village is the way to go.

So as a family if 3 we decided to take the plunge into snow sports. This resort was perfect! The hotel was on the slope so you could literally ski out from hotel. It’s perfectly located. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and attentive. The rooms were an exceptional size and had everything you needed. It was warm and cosy with a fire in Lounge area.
The ski teacher was amazing (Jessica) she was kind and patient. My son and husband took to it very naturally. I however found it very difficult to master but Jessica didn’t give up on me! Even after a couple of meltdowns I carried on. All the staff on the mountain will help and will encourage you. I also found other fellow learners very encouraging and always looking out for each other, offering helping hands after falls.
What we loved about Tremblant was that there was no pretence or snobbery. Everyone was there purely to relax and enjoy. The views from the top of the mountain were beautiful.
The food on the resort was excellent quality and served with a smile. The onion soup to die for after a hard day on the slopes.
This is a perfect resort to start you ski or snowboarding journey. I would highly recommend to fellow Brits who want to start but don’t want to feel intimidated by it all.
Canada is a beautiful country full of beautiful friendly people!! 🇨🇦

Was very disappointed to have been misled regarding the use of hot tubs. Upon booking and the day before arrival, were advised and then received confirmation that use of the hot tub at the lodge across the road would not be a problem. Upon arrival, were first told that the hot tub at the lodge was now also out of commission, then were told that it simply wasn't available for the entire stay. The hotel should not be misleading clients as to available amenities in order to get a booking.

After being a loyal customer for over 15 year it is time to say good buy. Was staying there for Thanksgiving weekend with the family. Was our favorite place as it is close to the equipment rental and gondola. Such a disappointment!!! First I will say, it is not cheap as they trying to sell (exchange rate). They have apparently 20% tax and resort fees (throughout the mountain (restaurants/coffee etc) that make it expensive!!! Second, the hotel is old and you can feel it wherever you go. The managment did not upgraded the public space which makes it uncomfortable to stay. Thirdly, the forgot what service is. No smile no worth no service. When we were ask to clean our room (after the second day) we were told that we need to ask in advance (I think they should tell us when we checked in that they are stuck Ed in the Covid days). Only after we complained to the managment they agreed to send someone. Parking at the hotel was not working, so the sent us to nearby alternative parking. No indication where this parking located (had to come twice to afk for guidance). Overall one big disappointment.
They just lost a very loyal customer. I hope that they will lose more. Shame on you.

19 years later of staying here, this hotel doesn’t fail to disappoint. Perfectly located, super clean, wonderful staff and great amenities. The renovations, which are currently being done really kick it up a notch. Every room offers a great view, includes a full kitchen (stove, fridge…), balconies in every room and much more. Large terrasse which can be reserved for free to barbecue with friends and family, very spacious, just like the rooms. The pool was also great since it’s open late, and the jacuzzi till 10. Definitely recommend this hotel for the price, you really get what you pay for.
