Place Saint Bernard is actually 2 hotels, Le Deslauriers & Le Johannsen. The Mont website says Place St Bernard bookings have lodging privileges. ie free Gondola rides for each person for the length of stay and more. It doesn't say that if you book thru a third party it doesn't apply so be careful if comparing pricing. We had 2 large rooms, bedroom with 2 large queen beds, and a kitchen living room with a pull out sofa so you could sleep 6. The woodwork in the room looked well worn but the beds were comfortable. A large balcony the whole width of the 2 rooms had 4 lounge chairs. Very nice but units are well used and looking that way. The entire town has a surcharge on everything you pay for of 3.5%, parking, meals, clothing etc like a condo fee. All restaurants charge about 50% more that what you would pay outside and not of good quality.
Charges were messed up, more deposit that we were told plus $150 security fee which took a week to get back. Balance finally worked out correct but was frustrating. I'd stay outside the complex so you have more selection of restaurants etc and don't feel trapped in the resort.

We stayed an a 2 bedroom suite. The room itself was well appointed, mostly clean, and in a good location (approximately 1/2 way up the pedestrian area). Our daughter slept on the pull-out bed, and when we opened it up there was a dirty sheet left on it. Luckily there were fresh sheets in the closet. There were also no additional pillows for her. We tried the jetted tub in the master bathroom and huge clump of hair and a used band-aid came out of the jets!!! The reception was surprisingly difficult to find. It is across the street from our actual hotel. To make things more confusing, Place St Bernard is divided into two sections, Johannsen and Deslaurier, which was not mentioned on the website (as far as I saw). In addition, there is very little parking! I am guessing maybe 25-30 spots for both hotels.

I honestly don't even know where to begin and never leave reviews but I feel like whats going on inside this place needs to be made more known to the public.
From the very beginning, the blonde old receptionist sent us to the wrong hotel room with all of our luggage - TWICE. After trying to break into some other poor families room in the middle of the night, we called her and not only did she not even care and made us luggage everything back, but she lectured us about where we parked our car.
Which, by the way, doesn't even matter. Considering we paid for a full weekends parking in the hotels garage but the entire garage was full with no parking for us because "people sneak in on busy weekends and towing says its too busy to enter the village today"- as per "Remi", the receptionist. The hotel refused to reimburse us for this because there were parking options on the other side of the village which is not what we paid for. ESPECIALLY with all the ski and snowboarding equipment.
While I will say that the room was nice, I dont trust the bed either. I'm not sure if its a reaction to the detergent used for the sheets but I'd really like to believe that the reaction on my arm wasn't from bed bugs..
On check out when we raised all of our concerns to receptionist, "Remi", he interrupted us in the middle of our convection to say "Please to stop talking" because a call was coming in and told us to "please go to the side because its rude to keep people waiting on the phone". As it wasn't rude to completely disacknowledge our entire conversation. Which went no where, we were told to just write an email to the hotel when we get home and given no reimbursement for the parking we never received.
Worst stay of my life. They have some SERIOUS customer service and staff training issues they need to address.. after investing in a better garage security system and new bedding.

This place is fab! we had a one bed condo with a fireplace and full kitchen, it had everything we needed and was a really good size. It had a massive bath tub that was perfect for the aching legs after a good days skiing. It also had a massive bed! Top Hotel would go again tomorrow!

We stayed in the Le Johannsen side. The room was amazing. The balcony overlooked the village and the slopes. The room was well decorated with a beautiful fireplace, cute kitchen and huge bathtub. The reception at Le Inn was very helpful. Bring a LAN cable if you want to use the Internet, they run out fast.

What was to be a restful and pleasant 4 day stay in Mont Tremblant turned out to be a nightmare. We arrived Tuesday evening during pouring rain and were delighted to check into our one bedroom condo at La Place St-Bernard. We slept well and the next morning when I picked up my scarf from the floor of the living room I soon found out that it was infested with fleas....yes fleas! Unfortunately I only discovered this after I had been bitten all over my neck. The staff quickly moved us to another room and we tried to enjoy the rest of our stay, however the itching, discharge and discomfort from the bites did hamper our time. Upon check out I asked if we were going to have to pay for that night's accomodations given that the room was clearly not up to standards. The reception passed the inquiry to the supervisor and then the manager. The manager (I wish I could remember his name) did not get back to me with an answer, he just proceeded to withdraw the full amount without so much as an apology or a kind word. Shame on the manager for cowerdly not facing up to his responsibility to answer my question and shame on him for not caring about his customers. My caution - don't leave any articles of clothes on the floor - there's fleas in those carpets!

Upon arrival around 12pm on Saturday, I went to check in. The man at the front desk told me that my room was only ready at 4pm but possibly sooner. Around 3.30pm, I went back and the front desk man told me that my room was ready! I was really excited, grabbed my cards and started looking for an elevator. This was my 1st time at this hotel and I didn't know that apart from the main office where you check in, the hotel actually has 3 other buildings. I went back to the front desk and asked him where my room was, and he then told me that I had to go outside and walk across the street. The staff was not very friendly and just gave me the keys without instructing me where to go. Apart from the front desk building, this hotel has 3 separate buildings along the main street. Nobody took the time to explain to us where are rooms were. When I finally found my room I realized the cards they gave us to get in the room weren't working. I went back downstairs, crossed the street ( about a 5 min walk to the front desk building) and the person who had given me the keys told me he had made a BIG mistake and had actually given me the keys that belonged to another client!! He then told me that my room was still not ready!!! I was really upset, it was 3.58 pm at this point and I was promised a room by 4 pm!! After having to beg the front desk for a room , he made a switch and gave me a new set of keys and told me that I would be staying in another building ( different from the one I was previously in.

Once in the new room, we had trouble opening the doors. The room was very basic. The pillows were old ( we only had 1 new fluffy pillow) and the bed was not made properly. The bed sheets didn't even fit the bed. The sheets they used ended a good 5 inches before the mattress ended. This was very unpleasant !!!! Some of the electrical plugs were also not working. Lighting was also an issue. The main switch did not work so we had to make our way to the small lamp across the room each time we wanted some light ( inconvenient when you come back to the room late at night ).

On our last night, we went to the front desk to ask them if they could extend our checkout time by 1 hour or so. The lady at the front desk was very rude and made it sound as if we were asking the impossible. Not friendly at all. She told us that checkout time was 11am max. and that by 11 am our car had to be out of the parking spot.
FYI- the hotel had two huge underground parking spots - free for the stay- and between both parking spots there was more than enough free spots for new clients to park. One of our friends who was staying close by at the Holiday Inn, also had free underground parking. On her last day, the Holiday Inn told her that she could keep her car in the parking for as long as she wanted after she checked out. On the other hand, the lady at the front desk told us our car had to be out by 11 am max and when we asked her if the car can stay a little longer she looked at us like we were crazy and said no!
I thought this was really rude of her. Like I stated, the parking lot was huge and there were many free spots. We also checked out on a Monday- not the busiest day in Tremblant!! As a client who paid almost 220$ a night I didn't think that keeping my car in their parking lot was a big deal, especially not for an extra 1-2 hours!! We really didn't ask for much!

Last but not least, when I went to checkout at 11 am on my last day, there was a new person at the front desk who told me that I could have kept my car in the parking for 2 extra hours. I thought this was very nice of her but she made it very clear that it could only stay for 2 hours, not a minute more. We checked out, gave in our cards and went on the mountain. Once we tried to get back to our parking we needed to scan a card to get into the parking lot.
The same card I had checked out of the hotel with and given to the girl at the front desk. Without swiping your card, there is no way ( to my knowledge) of getting to the parking lot. This was simply the cherry on the cake! The staff at this hotel expects you to know how to get around, how to access the parking spot with no cards to scan all while being very rude to their clients!! I was very unimpressed with the service. I was expecting a few bumps in the road since no trip is perfect, but this hotel made me hate my whole Tremblant experience!!

Our family of three just spent three nights, four days and two days skiing at Mont Tremblant. We stayed at Place St. Bernard in the Deslauriers section due to many favorable reviews and were pleasantly surprised. When you stay here you are at the heart of all the activities, except it is not really a ski in/ski out hotel. You do have to walk a short distance up hill to the lifts. The skiing was phenomenal, with well groomed trails and fresh powder. The "first tracks" program gets you out skiing before the crowds and the mountain is just beautiful in the early morning. The Resort itself also offers many evening activities that are family friendly, and included with the package. There was never a dull moment here! The hotel is nicely appointed with everything you would need for the stay, including ski lockers to safely house your equipment. The one bedroom suite was spacious, bright and had great views of the Village. We stayed in, having a few home cooked meals, and the kitchen had every thing you needed to prepare a meal. We also enjoyed some of the restaurants and bars which were very quaint and had excellent food. The fireplace was great but you have to call to housekeeping for logs and they were not always delivered. The service was a little lacking since there were too few staff to handle a fully booked hotel both in reception, and housekeeping(our room was not cleaned the second day). One major complaint was that our room faced the taxi drop off area and the ice slide, so it was very noisy in the wee hours of the morning when drunk people were waiting to be picked up. There was very little noise in the hotel itself, since we never heard anyone else in a fully booked hotel. Having a parking garage downstairs was also very convenient for unloading and keeping your car out of the elements. We would like to stay at Le Johannsen to be closer to the lifts and away from the noise. We are looking forward to a return trip!!!

Hell no, they're not friendly AT ALL.You better check out some private B&B's and so on, in the surroundings , unless you have a pink dyed minisized poodle, then ,maybe, it might fit in the scene....

No BBQs. I don't know of any places immediately at the mountain with a BBQ. You will need to go a little further out to get one. A great place to stay, although a 7min drive from the mountain but in the village of Mont Tremblant right beside the beach is Cap Tremblant. You can get a BBQ there and the accommodations are similar to St.Bernard.

Could work depending on the size and complexity of the dinner. Think small appartment-level fridge and stove/oven. for a group of 6-8 and nothing overly complex, it should do just fine.

Hi there is limited parking space under the hotel which I believe was $15/day. Otherwise u can unload at the doors and park the car in a parking lot which is about a 5 to 10 min walk from the hotel. If you are doing in and out driving then parking underground would b more convenient but u need to get there earlier than check in time in order to guarantee u a spot. I hope this helps
