Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed at the Motel Normandie one night while going to Montreal. The location was ok, it is on the Route 117 but our GPS didn't recognize it so we had to ask the Mont-Tremblant Info point. It is anyway 5 minutes by car from M.T. were we went for dinner. The room was very cleaned and the owners (she has Italian origin) very very kind. We had a really nice breakfast in the garden on the back side.

I drove 1400KM and needed a place to stay. There was Motel 149 with all its glowing reviews on tripadvisor so I gave it a try. I was not disappointed. This motel has been completely renovated, it's very clean and the price was definitely right. Rooms are small, but have a microwave, fridge and flat screen TV.
Located just on the edge of town, not far to restaurants and shops.
Would happily stay again.

We stayed there one night but we would definitely go back. The place is really clean and comfortable. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. They make you feel at home and really made us feel like family. We have stayed at hotels in the area that were a lot more expensive and it did not come near this place. The wood floors and wood plank walls and ceilings give the room a nice smell and a cozy feeling. Best motel around by far!

We went to this motel for the New year with a couple of friends. We just needed a place to stay so it did the job perfectly. It's clean, comfortable enough and it's owned by a nice couple that actually cares about their customers. The heater did not work in our room so they changed our room for a MUCH larger one for the night, they also fixed so minor issues on a timely manner.
The motel is located 10min away from Mont Tremblant so if you have a car it's very convenient to go to ski and come back.

I would recommend it for a night or two but this is nevertheless a motel and you don't want to spend the whole week here.

After spending most of the time in National park we needed motel close to the park on the way to Montreal. Clean and cozy motel rooms. All pine wood cover walls. The lady in the reception was able to provide us info about available dinner places and in the last minute we were able to order pizza just before closing. By 9 pm everything around was closed.

Small motel with super clean room ! Comfortable bed and quality linens. Recently renovated . Coffee machine, small fridge, TV.. well equiped for a small place.
Close to the main road and just a few minute drive to major resturant and grocery store.
Definetly recommend Motel 149.

This is a small motel close to main roads and a small local town. The room itself is nice and cosy with a wooden cabin style feel to it. The room has all the basic amenities required for a one night stay. But, we were staying for two and as we happened to be in the area when not a lot else was happening -except snow - we felt the place was a bit far from any local attractions, which were still open.
We arrived slightly early and were able to check in but it did feel a little like we were imposing. We would have happily waited if they had just asked.
We are aware the motel is in a French speaking part of Canada, but for those who do not speak french, be aware the owners have very limited English. With our limited French and their limited English we got by OK though and they were very helpful when we needed anything.

It's a motel!
No more.
Doesn't actually look like much from the outside.
But expect a good bed and a nice room full of pine sidings and all the usual amenities.
Perfect for a short stay around Mont Tremblant if you don't want to break the bank.

The place has been renovated so our room looked almost brand new. It had pinewood paneling on the walls, a flat screen TV, mini fridge, microwave oven, coffee makes with pods, A/C, a small desk and a bistro table. Sleep quality was excellent and so was the sound proofing. The bathroom is comfortable, good hot shower and toiletries. Our hostess was friendly and very helpful in suggesting some excellent places to eat. This is no frills, basic accommodation and a very good value for your money.
