Old but charming with very hospitable owner. Our room was a nice size with a fridge, a restroom, a fireplace, and our own heating/cooling. This is an inn - all rooms are accesed from the outdoors. Breakfast is cooked on the spot made to order!! Best part of all though was the great host and his service. There is no doubt he loves what he's doing and he loves to meet people and to broaden his horizons and to share what he knows if you wish to ask him questions! Would definitely go again.

Well located, between the city center and the village. There is a bus stop literally at the entrance. However, transportation is necessary because it is on the road. The hotel is defraiché but for a few days at lower cost, it is a good compromise. The staff is super nice, the lunch was also very good. We had a small budget room, the base without flame and it suited us well for 2days.

My husband and I love staying here for our annual ski trip to Mont Tremblant. We prefer staying here compared to the hotels at the ski resort because it feels more cozy like a relaxing, outdoors vacation. We enjoy the cooked to order breakfast and the friendly atmosphere. Rooms are clean and has everything we need. We'll be back!

Me and my family friends (5 families with 3 kids each)did booking with owner Andrea for 2 nights on 9th Oct 2015 ,by looking at ratings on trip advisor.ca.Huge mistake. Paid 95$/night plus 13$/night for extra kid.Andrea said no bed ,pillow or blanket will be provided for the kid.Owner was rude and non accomodative.Counting people on the breakfast, making comments that this kid is eating again. We brought some home food which got frozen in our room refrigirator.Requested him to use his only microwave of the hotel and let us use his breakfast room for our dinner. He refused to let us in the kitchen where his microwave was but offered to warm food his self.We agreed politely. He made a rude statement that he won't let all 5 families and kids sit in his breakfast room because during breakfast you people made the mess.We were dumbfounded. He said he can offer the basement to eat food.Basement was musty and everyone refused to eat there so we told him that we will eat in our rooms. He said these are HIS RULES in ever single sentence. He left our food in the microwave and disappeared.Talking with new customer, came back after 20 min .My husband complained nicely that we have been standing too long for this,at least we could take food ourself out of the microwave. He said I have my own rules and I have a customer. My hubby said we are your customers also.He said rudely, I will not warm your stuff take away your food.We took the food in our rooms ,ate ice cold food and in the morning left the hotel.Bed sheets were old worn out, having hair on the blanket and pillows.Uncomfortable mattress. No hairdryer, iron, coffee maker , microwave in the room.I won't recommend this motel to any one.We will never stay again .

I have reserved a room online. When I arrived to the hotel with my family, there was not any receptionist at the lobby. Instead, there was a button and a paper sign that saying, in short, "press the button for service”. I have press the button and waited for 5 minute, and then repeated this 3 times. When the owner showed up, instead of apologizing for making us wait, first statement he made very rudely was “ You guys are very impatient! You press the button 3 times!”. I was very shocked about how we are welcomed, but did not say anything back. Then, I ask very politely if we can see the room. His respond was; “If you did online reservation, you are done, it is over!” Again, he was extremely rude. After hearing some more very hard broken statement from him, I did not even want to talk to him any more, and just told him that I did not want to stay in his hotel and asked him to cancel our reservation. Then he said that there is a cancellation fee and he would charge us %100 of the bill. Because how he treaded us, I did not mind paying him all amount and leaving the place. He told us that he needed our credit card for the cancellation. I thought that he will process the cancellation, but instead, he just swiped the card and give us a bill. When I ask for a cancellation document, he made another rude statement and left the front desk which is a small room. I was very surprise and worried that he did not cancel the room, but charged us as we were staying there. I know that if something happens in that hotel at that night, I was one of the people who was responsible because I was staying in that hotel in his record. Even though, I was very upset about the situation and how I was treaded, I did not want to see his face any more, and left the place. On the way home, what this person did us was in my mind for 8 hours. In summary, If you do not want to ruin your vacation and go back to your home with very bad memory and feeling, I definitely not recommend this place.

Welcoming hosts. Full breakfast included in price was very good. Older drive-up to door type of motel. Could use some improvements, especially the reception area and landscaping, but a very economical and quiet place to stay!

The owner was extremely rude and accused us of lying about the children ages, despite booking on hotwire where it did not stipulate their age limits (11, kids are 14). The owner told the kids directly that we were liars when we werent there. The owner Andreas became very hostile and aggressive when asked what the issue was and was not open to any sort of resolution. We called Hot wire and received a refund and left as he would not give us a refund directly.

Leaving suited us well as the motel was smelly, dingy, musty, beds were pathetic, sheets dirty, furniture broken and front reception was disgusting. Rude staff, below average accommodations and creepy owner. When I advised the owner I would be reviewing his poor service on trip advisor he blew me a kiss. He upset the kids by calling us liars and made them feel uncomfortable by his creepy demeanor. I wouldnt recommend any families staying at this motel.

Friendly service, excellent breakfast, very affordable, well located, and rustic atmosphere. Will return.

If you're looking for luxury, this isn't the place for you and I suspect that some of the people providing negative reviews had unrealistic expectations.

Arriving in Mont Tremblant after a week's drive from Vancouver was a challenge. Most of the motels/hotels did not appear to welcome Kej, our Berner Collie (Bernese Mountain Dog with a touch of Border Collie). This was our first trip through Quebec. We had not been able to obtain info at a Quebec tourist office as we crossed into Quebec from northern Ontario. Someone suggested we try the Mountain View as it was a large property just minutes from the town. We put its location on the GPS and followed its directions to a very memorable stay. The spacious grounds with plenty of trees and green were great for Kej. Their tariff was very reasonable. The older cabin type units were spread over a large area. Our unit was clean and comfortable. For an extra $5 each we had the best breakfast of our two months on the road. Being away from a major highway it was very quiet, and we had a good nights sleep on comfortable beds. Host Andreas made us feel very welcome and gave us much helpful information at breakfast. The older decor and dining room lent a certain charm to the property. My wife insists that we go back there again on our next trip to Quebec.

As said by earlier reviews, this place is great value - the lowest cost you can find in the area, but much better than i expected for the price.

The property itself is excellent - big trees and hedges all around (though I didn't see a 'mountain view') -- really felt like a cozy cabin in the forest! The room was totally clean, beds comfortable, but the decor's a bit dated (as you'd expect in a budget motel).

Breakfast is made to order (and since the reviewer wrote below, they've added fresh fruit and some other cold breakfast items), and was great.
The host Andreas is very very friendly and helpful - when booking and when we asked for directions and advice on the area.

We chose to pay a few dollars extra for the fireplace room - I expected a fake or gas fireplace, but it was real! The Laurentians are beautiful, and though it was hot and sunny in the day (mid-20s), it was cool enough at night that we all looked forward to the toasty fire in our room!

I would have loved a kettle for a cup of tea, but other than that, everything was great! I'd absolutely recommend this place and stay there again.
